The Round House

Overview

Experience tranquil luxury at The Round House, located just 3.5 miles south of San Pedro Town. The villa offers spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and Barrier Reef, along with convenient access to town, nearby restaurants, and a grocery store.

Included amenities include housekeeping and Wi-Fi. Cook service and massages are also available. Guests can enjoy Belizean adventures such as snorkeling and diving in crystal-clear waters, as well as exploring ancient Mayan ruins.

The Space

The property includes eight bedrooms and five full bathrooms, accommodating groups comfortably with:

• Two king beds
• Five queen beds
• Two twin beds that can be converted into a king bed

Each level features a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining great room. Outdoor dining and relaxation areas are also available.

Each kitchen includes:

• Stainless steel oven and stove
• Large refrigerator with ice maker
• Microwave
• Dishwasher
• Additional small kitchen appliances

Every bedroom, along with the lower-level great room, has a mini-split air-conditioning unit and ceiling fans. The upper-level living and dining area benefits from excellent airflow through ceiling fans, doors, and windows.

Upper-Level Living Area

An outdoor staircase leads to the 1,800-square-foot (167-square-meter) veranda. It includes:

• A shaded breakfast area
• A covered bar with multicolored tile
• An open-air dining table for up to eight guests
• Several lounge chairs

From the veranda, enter the spacious great room, where the kitchen, dining, and living areas sit beneath a beautiful gabled ceiling made from native Belizean wood. Large windows and glass doors provide sea views while cooking, dining, or relaxing.

The living area features:

• Three large sofas for comfortable socializing
• An entertainment center housed in a built-in armoire
• A dining table that seats eight guests

The gourmet kitchen has a central island with bar seating for three, an oven and stove, and an additional sink. Granite countertops and custom-made mahogany cabinets add distinctive character.

Upper-Level Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The balcony encircles the house and has several access points, including entrances from three of the four bedrooms.

Principal Bedroom

The principal bedroom includes:

• A king bed
• An en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bathtub
• A large window
• A sliding glass door with panoramic sea views
• Direct balcony access

Second and Third Bedrooms

The second and third bedrooms each feature original wall murals created by a local artist. Both rooms have sliding glass doors leading to the balcony.

Between the bedrooms is a Jack-and-Jill bathroom area with:

• A double-sink vanity
• An entrance from each bedroom
• A separate toilet and bathtub/shower room

One bedroom has a king bed that can be converted into two twin beds, while the other has a queen bed.

Fourth Bedroom

The fourth bedroom is the smallest, though it remains comfortably spacious. Its closet area is located just outside the bedroom in a private corridor.

This bedroom includes:

• A queen bed
• Access to the full bathroom near the living room, which has a bathtub/shower combination

Ground-Floor Unit

Sliding glass doors open into the ground-floor great room, which combines the living and dining areas with the full kitchen just beyond. The spacious room offers:

• Dining space for eight guests
• Seating at two bar and breakfast areas
• A large L-shaped sofa for relaxing, socializing, and watching television

The ground floor has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with two bedrooms and one full bathroom on each side of the living and dining area.

Each bedroom features:

• A four-poster queen bed
• Sheer curtains
• Colorful Mexican-tiled headboards and footboards

Both full bathrooms include walk-in showers and vibrant Mexican tilework.

Pool and Outdoor Areas

Casa Redonda, Ambergris Caye, Belize, has a private pool measuring 37 by 18 feet (11.25 by 5.5 meters). The pool reaches a maximum depth of 6.5 feet (2 meters) and features an infinity edge facing the sea.

The pool area includes:

• Two pool decks
• Cushioned lounge chairs
• Nearby hammocks
• Views of the sea while swimming, dining, and relaxing

A separate area beneath a palapa is available for meditation, yoga, or relaxing in the hammocks.

Pier Access

Guests may use the pier between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The pier is shared with the neighboring property and is where tour operators collect and return guests for excursions.

Fishing from the pier is popular, and a palapa at the end provides shade and a cool place to relax.

Guest Access

This is a private home. Guests have access to the space they rent as well as the surrounding grounds.
