The Space
This two-story penthouse is located within walking distance of town and even closer to the beach, making it an ideal base for a vacation in Jacó, Costa Rica. The property features modern design, 30-foot ceilings, and an expansive 80-foot balcony with views of the Pacific Ocean, the mountains, and Jacó.
The penthouse includes seven bedrooms:
- A loft bedroom above the main living area with a king bed and private bathroom. The loft is open and has no walls.
- A primary bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom.
- One bedroom with two twin beds.
- One bedroom with a king bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom.
- Two additional bedrooms with king beds that share a large bathroom.
- A very small room with bunk beds located off the shared bathroom.
The spacious kitchen includes bar seating for eight and is equipped with everything you may need during your stay.

The home looks exactly like the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool and outdoor amenities were fantastic. The location was also great, with many restaurants within walking distance. Our host was amazing! She was extremely responsive to all of my questions and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She arranged transportation to and from the airport and even scheduled a private chef for our group. The chef was excellent and made our stay even more special! I highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely book again.

Space was amazing, with a. Beautiful pool. A couple AC units stopped working and they replaced that day. Our host Karolina was super responsive and booked tours for us. Overall a great experience. We loved having a pool table as well.

Hosts were responsive but the property fell short and appeared to need significant maintenance. Missing amenities conditioner, oil and a stocked shampoo dispensers. Maintenance issues couch missing bolts, broken stove indicators, missing toilet paper holders, stained bedding, leaking AC units.Rain water coming in the windows and ceilings in multiple bedrooms. Leaks caused personal belongings to get wet. Woke up to 3 families without running water for bathrooms and showers when we needed to leave. Written a fine of $600 after a child messing around threw an apple core from the balcony, despite addressing the issue immediately. The atmosphere felt more suited to partying than families, frequent late-night noise, intoxicated behavior, children being reprimanded at the pool for normal play. Overall, the combination of missing amenities, maintenance problems, water outages, unexpected charges, it was a disappointing stay. Although the hosts were great we left the last 4 days of the stay.

We made the reservation due to a situation we were having at another Airbnb, and we urgently needed to change. We booked at 3 pm, and by 6 pm we were already checking in. The service for something that was so quick was really excellent. Communication with Karolina was super fluid and easy. Despite the rush, it was as if we had booked well in advance. The apartment was super clean. The air conditioning wasn't working in one room, but in less than 30 minutes it was fixed. The kitchen was impeccable. Everything was super tidy and very, very comfortable for so many people. There were 11 of us. We would definitely stay again if we planned to go to Jacó again. We really appreciate the service and cooperation you provided to make check-in and everything so smooth.

We did not have a single issue with the location or the host. They were extremely responsive and amazing. Security was a little wacky at the location, but nice enough. The pool was amazing, and it was far enough away from downtown where you didn’t feel like you were stuck in the middle of things. It felt safe and was definitely within walking distance of everything, although it may be a bit of a walk for some.
