Hacienda San José de Zocotá is a beautifully restored historic colonial estate set on 46 hectares (114 acres) in the hills of Anapoima. Ideal for families and groups of up to 27 guests, the Hacienda includes six en-suite bedrooms, staff, a swimming pool, a private heated plunge pool, tennis and pickleball facilities, a fire pit, a pizza oven, and expansive tropical gardens—all exclusively for your group.

Surrounded by mango groves and protected natural habitat, the property offers exceptional privacy and an authentic countryside escape.

The Space

Bedrooms and Accommodations

The Hacienda has six spacious bedrooms, each featuring:

• One king-size bed
• Two single beds
• Private bathroom
• Walk-in closet
• Private balcony or terrace
• Hammock

The primary suite also includes a large private deck and its own heated infinity plunge pool with beautiful sunset views.

The house has 18 permanent beds, plus three additional rollaway single beds for larger groups.

• Maximum overnight occupancy in beds: 27 guests
• Larger groups may be accommodated using existing sofas or guest-provided inflatable mattresses, subject to prior approval

Staff Included

Your stay includes daytime staff to assist with meal preparation, serving, and housekeeping.

Guests provide the groceries and ingredients of their choice, allowing meals to be customized for the group. Please ensure that the groceries also include enough food for the staff working during your stay.

A nighttime security guard is included for additional peace of mind.

The in-house property coordinator can assist with house logistics and accommodations before and during your stay.

Pool and Outdoor Living

The main swimming pool and surrounding outdoor areas are ideal for spending time together.

Throughout the Hacienda, guests will find:

Nature and Mango Plantation

The Hacienda occupies approximately 46 hectares (114 acres) of private countryside, including a working mango plantation and areas of protected natural habitat.

Guests are welcome to explore designated areas of the property and enjoy its trails, gardens, and tropical landscape.

Depending on the season, mango and other fruit trees may be heavy with fruit. Guests may also see countless species of birds, butterflies, and other local wildlife.

Cattle are present in portions of the surrounding agricultural land, adding to the experience of staying on a working Colombian country estate.

Families

The Hacienda is especially well suited to large families and multigenerational groups.

There is ample space for everyone to spend time together without feeling crowded, along with separate areas where adults and children can enjoy different activities.

For families traveling with younger children, the property coordinator can help arrange trusted local nannies or babysitters, subject to availability. These services are provided independently and are coordinated and paid for directly with the caregiver.

Pets

Pets are welcome with prior notice.

Because the property is extensive and cattle and other animals may be nearby, pets should remain supervised and close to their owners. Guests are also asked to clean up after their pets.

Resident dogs live on the property.

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive use of the Hacienda and its guest areas throughout their stay.

The property is private and is not shared with other rental groups.

Guest Capacity and Additional Guests

The standard rate includes up to 16 guests.

For groups larger than 16 guests, an additional charge of COP 100,000 per additional guest, per night applies.

Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-in: 3:00 PM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may sometimes be arranged in advance, subject to availability, at a rate of COP 150,000 per additional hour.

Getting Here

The property is approximately 1.5–2 hours from Bogotá's El Dorado International Airport and approximately 3 hours from central Bogotá, depending on traffic.

Because Google Maps and Waze occasionally direct guests along an incorrect rural road, the property coordinator will send detailed arrival instructions before your stay.

Please follow the route provided by the team.

Transportation to and from Bogotá or the airport can also be arranged through trusted independent drivers. Transportation costs are paid directly to the provider.

Events and Celebrations

The Hacienda can accommodate select weddings, celebrations, and private events.

Events must be approved in advance and are subject to separate event pricing, guest limits, and conditions.

Please contact us before booking if you are considering hosting an event. A regular accommodation reservation does not automatically include permission to host one.
