Getting Around

Zen Casita Studio is approximately:

• 2 to 2.5 hours by car from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua
• 4 hours from Liberia Airport in Costa Rica

Most major car rental agencies operate at Managua airport; advance reservations are recommended. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is only necessary if planning to visit beaches further south near San Juan del Sur.

For those not renting a vehicle, airport transfers and daily sightseeing or surf trips can be arranged. Motorcycle and scooter rentals are available, as well as vehicle and boat transportation to other surf breaks in the area.

Alamo and National rental offices are located near Hacienda Iguana for convenient vehicle pickup.
