The Space
Boheme has recently undergone an extensive remodel and will reopen in mid-November. The property features six boutique apartments spread across two buildings, situated in the heart of Playa Guiones.
This fully air-conditioned unit offers approximately 1,200 square feet of living space. It includes:
- A spacious, open living room
- Two comfortable bedrooms with king beds, each with an en-suite bathroom
- An open loft containing bunk beds (twin on top and queen on the bottom) with its own en-suite bathroom
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A charming porch overlooking the property
Location
Boheme is located in the vibrant center of Playa Guiones, a renowned surf and yoga destination in Costa Rica. The property sits on a private cul-de-sac surrounded by lush gardens and features a delightful pool, creating a serene, private oasis atmosphere.
The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and the town center is approximately 10 minutes on foot. Notably, all beachfront areas in Playa Guiones are protected rainforest, enhancing the natural beauty and appeal of the surroundings.

Boheme is a hidden gem. It’s got the old Costa Rican feel, but recently remodeled so everything feels new. The saltwater pool is very relaxing. The guard shack adds an extra layer of security. The plants and flowers make the property cozy and jungly, and it is frequently visited by howler monkeys and resident iguanas. It is a complex where you will meet your neighbors at the pool, but everyone has their own space, too. It is one of my favorite Guiones spots and the property management is always accessible. My family has stayed for both extended visits and shorter trips many times. The location is perfection. Just a short walk on nice paths to the surf, Bodhi Tree yoga, and restaurants.

this place was wonderful . very nice unit with an amazing porch overlooking pool. multiple days with monkeys playing in the trees above the complex. once you find the trail you can easily walk to beach in minutes . kitchen had every thing you need for cooking . super fun. my only complaint was the 2 main king beds are really hard! it took a while to adjust but we managed. would definitely recommend !

Everything about this place is a 10/10. If you considering booking 100% do it you will not be disappointed. They are so friendly and helpful with anything you need during your stay and offer recommendations for things to do places to go etc. The air bnb itself was exact match to the photos. The accommodations are lovely and clean, the shared pool is so wonderful and relaxing and the location itself is tucked back a bit so it feels super private and peaceful. It’s less than a 10 min walk to the beach and so many nearby restaurants/shops. Will definitely book again if we are back in the area!

Clean, lots of space and great layout. Beautiful terrace. Beds were hard but made do. Amazing location, close to beach and many restaurants walking distance. The pool was perfect for the kids. Only complaint is there was no toys/beach accessories to use (apart from renting), so we hit the Walmart in Liberia when we landed and left beach chairs, a cooler and boogie boards there for future guests. Would be nice to hae some board games/cards in the unit. Overall beautiful stay. Pure Vida. We will be back.

Came to guiones with a girl friend for a surf trip and this place was perfect. Great kitchen, nice bedrooms. Ideal amount of space and very centrally located. Will absolutely come back!

We had a really nice stay! The apartment was clean and charming with a nice outdoor seating area overlooking the pool. It felt secluded in the trees, and you woke to the sounds of birds and monkeys. The AC (with three separate units in each bedroom) was wonderful! The concierge were extremely responsive and helpful. The location is an easy walk to the southern end of Playa Guiones (there is a foot path at the end of the road which is not shown on google maps that cuts down to the main street). The drive is not as direct. While there are a few restaurants and shops near the apartment, we spent most of our time on the northern end of the Playa Guiones (where there were more shops, restaurants), which was about a 10-12 min walk.

The place was perfect for both kids and adults. The level of service, the prompt advice, and the recommendations were effective and much appreciated. A wonderful place that I would not hesitate to visit again.
