Our stay at Maya Moon was fantastic. The cabin is private and quiet with an incredible view of the lake. During our stay, we only noticed a few bugs, which is to be expected staying in more natural surroundings. The staff are friendly and helpful and I can tell there's a good community at Maya Moon. Don't skip the vegan Maya Moon for breakfast!

Had a nice stay! Was not the cleanest place we stayed on the lake, our room slightly seemed infested with moths. We were expecting bugs, but it felt like there could have been a better effort to keep the room clean. Other lodges we stayed at seemed to be able to keep their places a bit cleaner/less dusty. Other than that, everything was lovely. Restaurant was nice, staff was friendly, and food was great!

We were very pleased, everything was clean and it was very quiet. You have to endure pseudohippy tourism everywhere on the lake anyway, but it was limited. People were very friendly and the place is really beautiful. The only thing you have to be prepared for: there are many stairs to climb.

Great and bad things about this place. Things I loved: -great location and awesome views from the cabin. It was really peaceful and the property is beautiful. I really liked having the balcony and hammock to relax. -there is a restaurant on the property and the food is really good! Seemed really fresh and fairly priced. Things that I didn’t love: - you could only get dinner until 5:30 pm probably due to the lack of attendance. Everywhere it was advertised that they would serve you until at least 7:30 pm. I don’t know who eats dinner at 5:30 pm but I would suggest to get some grocery so you can cook if you like to have dinner at a normal time. - the worst part was all the critters in the cabin. I understand that this is the area but the cabin was seriously poorly insulated. Every night there were spiders and the worst part scorpions in the cabin. It was just nerve wracking to have to deal with this at night.

I went back for another visit. The first time was so good. I went for a night to get away, meditate, do some yoga on their beautiful dock with the most incredible sunrise and views. I love swimming there in the clean clear water of the lake, then drink their yummy hot cacao.. The food is great and the staff very friendly. Had a nice chat with the owners...... comfy beds and beautiful, cute room.. feels like the best spa in the world.. 6 stars out of 5.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was beautiful and peaceful. It’s convenient location where you can easily catch a tuk tuk ride or a boat. Also , I love all the detailed instructions provided by the host which it made it easier to get familiar with the area. The food here was delicious. I had the chicken panini. The place was very clean and it looks just like described in the photos. I will stay at Maya moon again
