The Complex

Villa Pura Vida is located in a small, private gated complex featuring:

• Two freestanding five-bedroom homes
• Three villas within one structure, with one villa per floor

Villa Pura Vida occupies the entire middle level of the structure. It is completely private, with no shared spaces.

Arrival and Access

Guests enter through a private gated entrance using a secure access code provided before arrival.

The villa sits on a hillside overlooking the Romantic Zone and Banderas Bay, creating its expansive panoramic views. As with most premier view properties in the area, the driveway is inclined. Local drivers, including Uber and taxi drivers, navigate hillside homes like this one every day.

Location, Views, and Comfort

Perched above Los Muertos Beach, Almar Resort, Mantamar Beach Club, and Blue Chairs Resort, Villa Pura Vida offers both convenience and tranquility. Beaches, restaurants, and nightlife are only minutes away, while the elevated setting provides peace, privacy, and quiet.

From the terrace and private infinity pool, enjoy nightly sunsets over Banderas Bay and seasonal fireworks displays along the shoreline.

The panoramic views extend across the bay from Punta Mita to Sayulita and Nuevo Vallarta, sweeping over the Romantic Zone toward Conchas Chinas. These are among the most expansive and unobstructed views in Puerto Vallarta.

Air Conditioning and Ventilation

The villa is fully air-conditioned for year-round comfort and includes:

• Seven split air-conditioning units, with one in each bedroom and additional units in the main living areas
• Ceiling fans in every bedroom, plus additional fans throughout the villa
• Large double front doors and expansive glass patio doors that allow in the ocean breeze

220-Degree Ocean and Sunset Views

Enjoy year-round sunsets across an expansive, unobstructed panorama stretching from Punta Mita to the Romantic Zone, Los Muertos Beach, and the beginning of Conchas Chinas. While many Puerto Vallarta properties offer limited or straight-on views, Villa Pura Vida provides a rare, sweeping perspective.

Private Heated Infinity Pool

The newly remodeled private infinity pool features:

• Fountain
• LED lighting
• Separate pool sitting area designed for enjoying the views; this is not a jacuzzi
• Heating to 86°F during winter, from December through March, included with your stay
• Optional heating outside this period for $50 per day upon request

Unlike splash pools or shared community pools at many Puerto Vallarta properties, this pool is exclusively yours.

Private Palapa Bar

The private palapa bar includes a refrigerator and sink. It is a convenient spot for breakfast, remote work, happy hour, and sunset gatherings.

Small, Private Gated Community

Villa Pura Vida is located in a quiet, private gated complex rather than a large, hotel-style condominium development with crowded common areas. The setting offers additional peace, space, and privacy.

Three-Bedroom Layout

This is a true three-bedroom villa, not a flexible sleeping arrangement.

• Three large king bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom
• Two bedrooms with views
• Bedroom 3 faces the jungle
• Bathroom 3 can function as either an ensuite or a main guest bathroom
• Air mattress available for a seventh guest

Expansive Indoor and Outdoor Living

The 4,700-square-foot villa is designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living and includes:

• Large open kitchen with island and pantry
• Washer and dryer
• Dining area for six, expandable to eight
• Two living areas:
  • Lounge with a 75-inch smart television, couch, loveseat, and armchair
  • Second sitting area with three plush leather armchairs
• Floor-to-ceiling glass doors throughout the villa

Patio and Outdoor Lounge Areas

The outdoor spaces are designed for both relaxation and entertaining and include:

• Seating for four at the palapa bar
• Outdoor seating for six to seven guests
• Four poolside lounge chairs
• Large umbrella for shade, comfort, and additional privacy

Barbecue Grill

Enjoy outdoor cooking and dining directly on the patio.

Guest Access

All spaces are private and accessible to guests. There are no shared areas, including the infinity pool and palapa bar.

Weekly and monthly discounts are available for longer stays. Airbnb automatically displays the applicable discount in the total price.

Preparing for Your Stay

Before arrival, guests will be asked to complete a short form to help us prepare the villa for their visit.

Community Guidelines

The villa is located in a quiet residential area. Guests are asked to respect the surrounding community.

• No smoking or vaping inside the villa; a $300 cleaning fee applies if smoking or vaping is detected
• No parties or events
• No commercial photography without prior approval
• Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Additional Services and Fees

• Seventh guest: $50 per night, including an air mattress and sheets
• Additional grocery trips: 500 MXN per trip
• Optional pool heating outside the December–March period: $50 per day

Early Check-In and Late Check-Out

Requests are accommodated whenever possible.

• Up to two hours early, with a 1:00 p.m. check-in, or two hours late, with a 1:00 p.m. check-out, is complimentary
• Requests outside this window are subject to pricing based on the season and the number of hours requested

Families with Young Children

Families are welcome. Please note:

• The patio and main bedroom have railings with large gaps, so supervision is required
• The pool is not gated and has several steps for entry and exit
• Exercise caution around all water areas

Accessibility

• Single-level, spacious villa with a large main bedroom and walk-in shower for easier mobility
• The Alexis bathroom also has a smaller walk-in shower
• The covered driveway may not accommodate large vans or Sprinter vans; a short 15–20-foot walk on cobblestones may be required
• Standard sport utility vehicles, rental cars, Uber vehicles, and taxis fit in the covered parking area
