"La Casita" is a modern, air-conditioned two-story apartment featuring a kitchen, living room, upstairs bedroom with a balcony, an outdoor sitting pool, and a yard landscaped with tropical plants. The unit was remodeled in July 2019 and includes a hot water shower and air conditioning for your comfort.
This apartment shares the property with a larger house called "Casa Adobe" and a smaller home named "La Villa," which is also available for rent.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful, however the place needs a bit of maintenance. The water pressure for bathing is low. Very good location and the cleanliness of the place was quite good. The place smelled a little musty.

There was nice lady who I think is the owner's mom and she helped with what she could. The check in is unnecessarily difficult. Instructions are never provided and when you get there you realize that there's no phone signal no matter the carrier. I had to drive back like 500 meters to get phone signal and be able to call the host. Simple check in instructions would have saved us time and made our check in smooth. The internet is like 5MB and it goes on and off. So while we were there it was difficult for us to communicate with our employees and take care of our business. The place is not very well maintained. I reached out through the airbnb chat but got no response. It's not a good deal. $300 for two nights was too much for what we got. I was expecting more. Pros: The location is convenient and close to groceries, restaurants and the beach.

It’s a good spot if you’re open to figuring things out as you go. The price point vs what you get in return is decent for the area. The pool is a nice touch. When we needed something (gas ran out in the kitchen in the middle of preparing dinner) it was tended to, but not until the next day, which is understandable. It was a little buggy (ants) but, for the most part, they kept to themselves. We did have access to laundry and Jenny's mother was really helpful when we needed her.

Thank you for a lovely place to stay Jenny. When we arrived we realized that one of the beds that was shown in the photos was no longer there, we reached out to Jenny and thankfully she responded very quickly and resolved the problem. We had a short stay here and it was comfortable for us while we stayed. Thanks Jenny and Jenny’s Mom!

We felt very comfortable, quiet and private location. Beautiful the animal voices in the morning and evening. Pool was lukewarm and still cool ;-)

The place was large for two people and nicely decorated inside. The house is quiet. The center of Puerto Jimenez can be reached in about 5 minutes by car. Unfortunately, the photos (mainly the outdoor area) did not quite correspond to the current condition, so we consider the value for money to be not optimal. Check in was cumbersome The place was still cleaned for check-in, so we had to wait about 1 hour. For this, the place was not easy to find because there is no marking from the outside. Overall, we were satisfied.

In a nutshell: absolutely recommended. We felt very comfortable from the first second, the house has everything you need to spend a few nice days. Jenny's communication and recommendations were great. And I really liked the layout and the kind of house! You have a great airbnb ❣️

Before arrival, we were still in contact with the landlady, at check-in, we were informed (allegedly brother of the landlady) that the booked apartment was occupied. They gave us another one at the premises. Since we only had two days, we didn't care. So can't rate the booked apartment. Unfortunately, I was also not contacted by the landlady afterwards (can be expected) and it was not excused. I think the same apartment is rented here several times. Those who come last have been unlucky. Facility is nice, pool was clean. Surroundings don't really matter much, except the national park is on the agenda.

And enjoyed it. In the morning we were only in the pool and watched the birds, especially the Aras. At the harbor you could eat and sit well.
