The Backyard Beach House is a brand-new luxury tropical-modern home located directly on the oceanfront in the charming surf town of Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
Just steps from the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean, the house offers easy access to exceptional surf and spectacular sunsets. It is centrally situated near Playa Hermosa’s beachfront restaurants and bars, while the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Jacó Beach are only 5 minutes away.

Location and Activities
The property is located next to a National Wildlife Refuge and Sea Turtle Sanctuary, including a nesting area for hatchlings and giant turtles. These turtles are often seen on the beach directly in front of the house.

I can’t say enough positive things about Nick’s place! It was beautiful, peaceful and in the perfect location. The beach is right out your backdoor and it’s walking distance from restaurants, the grocery store and about a 5 min uber into downtown Jaco. Nick greeted us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed and showed us around. He helped set up transportation, excursions, beach front massages, golf, and gave great restaurant recommendations. We were a group of 8 adults and had plenty of room in the house. We are looking forward to coming back.

Place was clean and Nick was super helpful. We had a small wedding on the beach and it was perfect for that. Close to Jaco but just a few minutes outside. Beach was fifteen feet from the back door. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Nick's place. The house is in a great location in Playa Hermosa, only a 5 minute drive to downtown Jaco. There are plenty of great restaurants, and coffee shops within a 2 minute walk from the house too. We were 6 adults and 4 children and had ample room in the house. Patty, the concierge, was very helpful in assisting with anything we needed including excursions and in-home massage services. We had the chef cook dinner for us two of the nights we were there and the food was fantastic!

Our family had an amazing week-long stay at this beautiful beachfront home. The property was clean, comfortable, safe, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We are already missing the sound of the ocean waves! It is also in a fantastic location within walking distance of several great restaurants. While we had a few minor issues during our stay—including one that was entirely our own fault—the host was incredibly responsive and resolved everything almost instantly. We would absolutely love to stay here again!
