Very nice living space and good beds! The ocean view is terrific and the pool was so refreshing on hot days (every day was hot lol). The house is a little tired and in need some maintenance. The host was very attentive and quick to respond to our questions.

Due to the good reviews from everyone, we were very disappointed. The accommodation is spacious and modernly furnished, but much would need maintenance again. The sockets fall apart when you pull out a plug, we had ants in the apartment but above all we could not sleep because of the street noise. The guard was there when we arrived, afterwards we never saw him again and he was no longer there. It seems we are the only ones with a negative experience of the accommodation, but during 2 months in Costa Rica this was our least favorite accommodation.

Carlos was super nice and communicative, so I feel badly that I can't give this house a better review. The road it's on was super noisy, and it felt difficult and dangerous to open the gate right on such a busy road, especially at night. The pool wasn't clean - there were dead leaves and a dead crab in cloudy water so we didn't swim in it. There were no top sheets on the beds in the room with 4 beds, and the kitchen was missing basic amenities such as paper towels, dish towels, and dish soap. There were also a lot of ants in the house. That said, the view is beautiful, and I had fun watching lots of tropical bird species fly by in the morning. It's not a far drive from nice beaches.
