The Space
Villa Mariposa is situated in the heart of Playa del Carmen within the luxury gated community of Playacar, which offers 24/7 security. The villa features over 5,600 square feet of spacious living areas, complemented by a 1,100 square foot rooftop terrace, a large terrace, and a balcony. Ceiling heights throughout the villa range from 10 to 12 feet, creating an open and airy atmosphere.
The property includes a private pool, a separate heatable whirlpool, and a hot tub located on the terrace. For entertainment, there is an HD home cinema system, a Bose sound system with a smartphone docking station, Roku TV, and Wi-Fi coverage in both the house and garden. Recreational amenities include a ping pong table and a pool table.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a refrigerator/freezer with an integrated ice maker, an additional ice machine, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and mixer. A laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is also available for guest use.
Additional beds and cribs can be arranged in some rooms upon request through the concierge. Parking is convenient with space for three cars directly in front of the villa.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Jasmine’s place in Playacar. Mauricio, our concierge, met us to welcome us to the property. He kept in contact with us through out the trip. He was very helpful with setting up excursions and suggesting restaurants. Really nice touch have him as a friend to check in with while we were there. Cleaning service was included with our stay. The young ladies that came each morning to clean were professional and attentive. They would provide fresh towels and make sure we had everything. There was a pool guy that made sure the pool was clean each day too. It was a great stay. We were a group of 13. From 2 years old to 67. We all enjoyed the house, the kids especially enjoyed the pool.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property! The home was spacious, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and in the perfect location. The bedrooms were cozy, the pool was a huge hit with our group, and everything exceeded our expectations. The chef service was one of the highlights of our trip. The chefs were incredibly kind, prepared delicious meals, and thoughtfully accommodated our dietary restrictions. Mauricio was also fantastic, friendly, responsive, and always attentive to anything we needed. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the home spotless throughout our stay and we’re always very kind. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, our family loved it and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for helping make our vacation so special!

Great place to stay in private residential community. Taxi would cost you around $15-$20 to the 5th Ave. Host was super responsive and always answered us super quickly. Cleaners came everyday and made sure the place was super clean. Bikes were not really well maintained but there for your convenience so we filled up the air and romed around the community. Overall worth the price you pay. All except one bedroom have attached bathrooms. Thanks for hosting us!

The house is absolutely beautiful. I like the fact that they provide free transportation back and forth from the airport. Also, they provide cleaning services everyday. Mauricio the host helped us a big deal with everything kudos to him. The location is incredibly safe and quiet. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. They have enough bikes you could use to get around in the development. My only disappointing experience was that their marketing is misleading to the point that I had to pay $720 dollars extra in cash for 4 extra guests. Their advertisement never disclosed this information at front, which I strongly believe it’s dishonest and upsetting.

Everything was as expected. Mauricio my concierge and staff were all on point and kept the house clean for us. A lot to do around the villa including sightseeing and a very peaceful area to walk around. Jasmine our host was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end with the planning of our stay until we left. Will come back again.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house. The property is exactly as advertised, impeccable and in excellent condition. The location is perfect if you plan to visit the Xcaret parks. It was perfect for our family of nine. The pool was a great plus. Mauricio, the concierge, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He responded quickly to our messages and made sure everything went smoothly, including arranging our airport pickup and keeping an eye on our departure flight. Thanks to Karla and Mary, the cleaning team. Their work made our stay even more enjoyable. We recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

The house was lovely, Mauricio, our concierge met us at the house and explained everything to us, was very helpful and informative, he helped us with some excursions and recommended day passes to other resorts and taxi's. The staff was able to add twin beds to rooms to accommodate the needs of our party of 14. The house fit us perfectly. The daily housekeeping was amazing and the house clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the pool table was a lot of fun to use. The washer and dryer was also great to have on site. The location of the house is about 2 miles from the beach, so either a 30 min walk or a quick bike ride, there are convenience stores less than a 5 min walk away and a great bakery about .5 miles. The house is stocked with bottled/jugs of water that is piped through the fridge so that was great and the ac worked well. Be mindful of mosquitos outside, so bring repellent, we also kept the fans going. Thank you Jasmine, we had a great time!!
