The Space

Villa Amarilla is a beachfront property in the vibrant surf town of El Tunco, located directly in front of the world-renowned La Bocana surf break.

Villa Amarilla is part of the Mar De Flores Surf Villas collection, which includes three additional beachfront properties. All four villas sit atop a gentle hill with breathtaking views of La Bocana. Villa Rosada and Villa Azul each have two bedrooms, while Villa Blanca and Villa Amarilla offer three bedrooms.

Bedrooms

The master suite provides a peaceful retreat with panoramic ocean views through wall-to-wall windows opening onto a private terrace, an ideal spot for morning coffee. It includes:

• A king-size bed
• A spacious desk for remote work
• A comfortable living area with a queen-size pull-out bed
• An en-suite master bathroom with an outdoor shower

Two additional junior bedrooms each feature:

• Two twin beds
• An en-suite bathroom

Villa Amarilla comfortably accommodates six guests, with space for up to two additional guests when the pull-out bed is used.

Kitchen and Living Areas

The spacious kitchen and dining area is equipped with everything needed for preparing meals and includes a dining table with seating for ten. The space flows naturally into an outdoor living area where guests can enjoy the ocean breeze and scenic surroundings.

The ground-floor terrace offers a relaxing setting for socializing beside the pool. Above, the rooftop terrace provides panoramic views of the sea and mountains and is perfect for:

• Sunbathing
• Watching the sunrise or sunset
• Stargazing

Surroundings

Villa Amarilla offers a serene atmosphere, with the ocean breeze and sound of the waves creating a tranquil backdrop. The villa is designed to showcase views of both the sea and mountains.

Fragrant frangipani trees surround the seaside, while lush tropical greenery covers the mountainside, adding natural beauty throughout the property.

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive access to their villa, with ample on-site parking available.

• Check-in: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
• Pets are not permitted, as two dogs already live on the property.
• Guests who are uncomfortable around dogs should contact the host in advance. Arrangements can be made for the dogs to remain on the housekeeper’s side of the property.
• Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
• Loud music should not be played after 10:00 p.m. to help maintain a pleasant environment for everyone.

Surfing

La Bocana Surf Break

Located in front of Villa Blanca, La Bocana is one of the few left-breaking waves in El Salvador. It also offers impressive right-breaking waves that provide an exceptional ride.

La Bocana is primarily suited to advanced surfers and is not recommended for beginners because of its powerful and challenging conditions. The break can be surfed at almost any tide, although, as with many Salvadoran surf spots, the best conditions are often found around mid-tide and during the incoming tide.

El Sunzal Point Break

A 10-minute walk along the beach leads to El Sunzal Point Break. Known for its consistency, El Sunzal is a classic right point break recognized as one of the most reliable surf spots in the world.

Southwest swells shape the wave particularly well, creating a dynamic, powerful takeoff followed by smooth, well-formed walls that are ideal for carving. Although El Sunzal does not typically produce hollow, barreling waves, its conditions are suitable for surfers of all skill levels.
