The Space
Relax in this peaceful and stylish mountain house offering spectacular views of the San Jose Central Valley, Poás Volcano, and Barva Volcano. Nestled within a 219-acre farm, the cabin comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families or small groups.
The cabin features a fully equipped chef's kitchen, a Finnish sauna, a fireplace, a fire pit, and a BBQ grill. Surrounding the property are over 20 acres of forest reserve and more than 10 kilometers of private roads and trails, perfect for quiet walks immersed in nature.
The cabin is brand new, showcasing modern rustic architecture that combines style, efficiency, and a cozy atmosphere.
Bedrooms
- Bedroom 1 (Master): Located on the first floor, this room includes a king-size all-wood bed and an ensuite bathroom with a standalone rain shower.
- Bedroom 2: Also on the first floor, this room has a queen-size bed and twin double bunk beds.
- Bedroom 3: Situated in the mezzanine, this room features a queen-size bed.
All linens are 100% cotton with a 300-thread count.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the cabin and the extensive private property, including:
- Finnish sauna for up to 6 people, ideal for relaxation.
- Over 10 kilometers of private roads and trails for hiking and peaceful walks.
- Farm nursery where guests can explore and learn about the plantation.

Other Information
The property is pet-friendly with a $35 pet fee. Guests are kindly asked not to allow dogs on the beds to prevent staining and damage to the linens.

We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this property! The views are absolutely breathtaking and even better than the photos. Waking up surrounded by nature and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was the highlight of our trip. The house is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, from the kitchen to the outdoor areas, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about anything. One unexpected highlight was the collection of board games. We really appreciated that they weren't just the usual classics, they offered a great variety and became one of our favorite activities during the evening. The only suggestion for improvement would be the short unpaved road from the main gate to the property. It is quite rough and could benefit from some maintenance. Unfortunately, we got a flat tire on that stretch, even while driving a 4x4 pickup. Aside from that, everything was excellent, and we would happily stay here again.

Great stay! Excellent location for visiting the Poas volcano and the surrounding area. The views are amazing!! Comfortable house for 8 people. Well-equipped kitchen. The house is a bit shabby (dirty walls in places, tarnished mirror, etc.) or needs a bit of maintenance (burnt-out light bulbs, no pressure or hot water in the kitchen sink). Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant, and David was responsive.

The place is beautiful! Be sure to follow the check-in instructions and look for the landmarks indicated by the host, otherwise you may get confused about the entrance. Everything advertised worked as such. The only problem was that we didn't have internet.

We had an excellent stay. The views are spectacular, and the peace and quiet make it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The house is very well equipped, clean, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Its location is also ideal—just 15 minutes from Starbucks Hacienda Alsacia, 30 minutes from Poás Volcano National Park, and about 30 minutes from La Paz Waterfall Gardens. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Poás area while enjoying a peaceful mountain retreat.
