The Community

Casa Zuri is nestled within Los Almendros at Hacienda Pinilla, an exclusive resort styled in traditional Hacienda architecture and surrounded by Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity. Guests have the advantage of choosing from four nearby beaches: Avellanas, Mansita, Bonita, and Langosta.

The Beach Club

The beach club features a restaurant, swimming pool, gym, and playground. Visitors can surf, relax poolside, or enjoy spectacular sunsets.

Starting January 1, 2025, a non-consumable fee of $5 per person per day applies. Children aged 10 and under are free. Please note the beach club will be closed for maintenance from October 5 to 18, 2026.

The Golf Course

The 18-hole, par-72 beachfront golf course offers breathtaking sunset views, especially from the beachfront hole located on a secluded beach.

As a guest at Casa Zuri, you have access to the JW Marriott Hotel’s various restaurants. Day passes are available for purchase, granting entry to the hotel’s grounds and amenities.

Playa Mansita and Playa Bonita, near the JW Marriott, are known for their excellent tide pools during low tide.

Tennis Courts

The community includes two hard tennis courts with an onsite instructor named Sylvain. Private, semi-private, and group lessons are offered regularly. There are also kids’ camps and pickleball events.

Mountain Bike Trails

Hacienda Pinilla features over 45 kilometers of trails winding through ranchland, forests, and coastline. These scenic and challenging routes cater to all skill levels, from beginners to experts, providing adventure and enjoyment for families and solo riders alike.
