The Space

Luxuriate in a true colonial home featuring a pool and a rooftop terrace with stunning 360° views. You will know you have rented a historic colonial home when you pass through the large, antique front doors framed by three-foot-thick adobe walls.

Lounge on the shallow, submerged bench seats in the pool or relax in the hammocks hanging between twelve-foot wooden columns. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over Granada's tiled roofs and views of Mombacho volcano.

The fully equipped kitchen is spacious and open, complete with coffee and cooking basics such as spices and cooking oil. For only $12*, your chef/housekeepers, Elisa or Hazell, can head to the market and prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Fancy a smoothie, a plate of rosquillas (a classic local snack), or chilled coconut water from our tree? Elisa and Hazell can make it happen!

The tile floors of Granada are beautiful but hard, so we installed a soft-floored exercise and playroom. Alternatively, head over to PURE for a workout or join a yoga or exercise class. You will have unlimited access and receive a 10% discount on all massages and spa services while staying at Casa Tortuga.

If you have kids, we can stock the exercise/playroom with toys and provide a crib, a baby-changing station, a baby gate, water wings/floaties, a child’s bike helmet, art supplies, board games, and a white noise sound machine. The pool is fenced for safety and includes an open-air shower.

Our bilingual co-host, Gretchell, will be on call to assist you with anything you need. Whether it’s a taxi pick-up, a tour, or items from the pharmacy or convenience store, anything you need can be delivered for a dollar or two via a moto-delivery service.

The spacious master bedroom is located on the second floor and boasts a spectacular view of the cathedral. Enjoy the breezes from the lake on the private balcony. Don’t worry; there is air conditioning for when the breezes don’t suffice. The bathrooms are equipped with thick, soft towels and hot water from a real water heater (no electric shower heads).

A convenient parking option is available 2.5 blocks away for about $2 per night. We can also provide a vehicle (the owner’s Nissan Patrol 4x4) and a private driver for a very reasonable price. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

Guest Access

You have rented the house; it is all yours! Plus, you will have access to PURE. If you would like access to a larger pool, we can provide you with day passes to Selina Granada, located only four blocks away from Central Park.
