Built in the mid-1600s, this 3,500-square-foot Spanish colonial house was once the residence of poet Jorge Artel. It has been thoughtfully restored using local materials and Caribbean-inspired design.

Important Information
The house is located directly on Plaza de la Trinidad in the heart of Getsemaní. The plaza becomes lively each evening, with tourists and locals gathering nearby. Guests should expect street and nightlife noise, often continuing well past 2:00 a.m.
The house has double-pane windows facing the street, and a white noise machine is provided for the street-facing master bedroom.
The rooftop jacuzzi does not have heated water, which is standard in Cartagena. It is thoroughly cleaned after every checkout, and the water remains warm throughout the year due to the hot climate.

My friends and I had a great time here, the hosts, the amenities, and the culture of the location was all great. The cleaning service was also great and overall my friends and I had a lovely stay and would recommend staying here over in the walled city

This Airbnb was really nice. I came to this place to celebrate my best friend bachelorette and it was the perfect place. Every room has their own bathroom, AC and the house itself it’s very beautiful representing everything Cartagena has to offer. I highly suggest that if you are looking for a place to rest probably skip this one. There’s always people outside, and people talking loud. For us wasn’t an issue since we were in “celebrating” mode. There’s a matcha/coffee place right next to the Airbnb that was really good and a lot of restaurants, shops. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you Sachin for letting us stay at your place.

Absolutely loved our stay, the house is on a busy square with tons of restaurants and shops just steps away. The house is very spacious and easily fit our group of 6 people. We requested for in house breakfast which was delicious.

My 5 friends and I came to Cartagena to celebrate my birthday and made the best memories! This villa was absolutely spectacular. I couldn’t be more grateful for the time we spent here for my 28th birthday! The space was huge, the rooms clean and beautifully decorated and well air conditioned. The location was in the middle of everything which was amazing, so much culture and life!! Ana the house manager was sweet and responsive and had great recommendations for us as well when we needed assistance. Viviana was kind and generous and cheffed the most delicious meals, 1000/10. It would be an honor to come back over and over.

Sachin did and his team did a wonderful job hosting us and we really enjoyed our stay. The villa is beautiful and spacious for a group to stay. The location was also great. Walkable entertainment, food and convenience stores. The night life was also fun to see. Had a great stay. One of the workers made us breakfast each day and it was fantastic! Great cook and food. They also took care of cleaning the premises throughout the day which was nice. We also really appreciated that the house had AC since it was so hot outside. Most of the bedrooms were perfectly cool especially during the hot 95 degree days in Cartagena. The only thing was the master bedroom was very hot and the AC didn’t work the best in that room despite keeping the doors closed to keep the cool air in. Other than that, we had the best experience and a very pleasant stay. Ana was very attentive to our needs. They took great care of us. Would definitely stay there again! Would highly recommend this place!
