The Space

Built in the mid-1600s, this 3,500-square-foot Spanish colonial house was once the residence of poet Jorge Artel. It has been thoughtfully restored using local materials and Caribbean-inspired design.

The home is well suited to groups and families seeking an authentic, comfortable, and vibrant Getsemaní and Cartagena experience.

Important Information

The house is located directly on Plaza de la Trinidad in the heart of Getsemaní. The plaza becomes lively each evening, with tourists and locals gathering nearby. Guests should expect street and nightlife noise, often continuing well past 2:00 a.m.

The house has double-pane windows facing the street, and a white noise machine is provided for the street-facing master bedroom.

The rooftop jacuzzi does not have heated water, which is standard in Cartagena. It is thoroughly cleaned after every checkout, and the water remains warm throughout the year due to the hot climate.

• Under Colombian law, all guests must complete a registration form at check-in, including their name and identification number from a passport or Colombian identity card.
• Minors under 18 years of age may only stay inside the property when accompanied by a biological parent or legal guardian.
