The Space
This renovated beachfront villa on Playa Redonda features three bedrooms and is located just steps from the beach. Playa Redonda is recognized as one of the most beautiful beaches in Nicaragua.
The rental includes:
- One two-story master suite with a king bed and two sofa sleepers
- A full kitchen and living area in the master suite
- Two smaller treehouse-style units, each with a queen bed
- Private decks for each villa
- Bathrooms with showers
- Refrigerators and coffee makers in each unit
The pool is exclusive to the villas and faces the beach. An outdoor grill is also available.
Villa Layout
The property, called Urraca, consists of three separate private beachfront villas arranged around a plunge pool overlooking the beach.

The two side villas each have:
- Private beachfront decks
- Queen suites with attached bathrooms
- Dedicated workspaces

The master suite is located directly behind the pool and features:
- Two stories
- Full kitchen, living room, and half bathroom on the ground floor
- King bed, teakwood shower, and full bathroom upstairs
- Decks on both floors with views of the beach and Redonda Bay
All villas are equipped with air conditioning.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to all three villas and the pool, except for owner and maintenance closets.
Additional Information
- An extra fee applies for groups over four people ($20 per person per night).
- Beach restaurant hours vary by season and may be closed during slow periods. Please inquire for current information.
- Water taxis can be arranged for dining, surfing, surf lessons with local instructors, or fishing trips departing from the beach in front of the villa.
- A list of nearby activities and restaurants is available.
- The new road to San Juan del Sur is now open.
- For guests working remotely, the villas offer stable internet and three separate workspaces.

Vila Urraca was a peaceful getaway! Host is super friendly and accomplished! The beach is right in front of the house and we could leave doors and windows open as there was not many mosquitoes, surprisingly. We had a great family time!

We absolutely loved our stay here! This place truly feels like a dream—peaceful, beautiful, and wonderfully remote. The house itself was lovely and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having the beach right there. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy some quiet time away from everything. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, the accommodations were great, and we had everything we needed to feel at home. We honestly didn’t want to leave and would happily come back again. This is a special place, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jon’s place. The place was spotless clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location is right on a private beach which made for incredibly peaceful and scenic mornings. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach escape !

The best property to stay at in Aqua wellness. The beach and restaurant was across the street within steps. The view to the ocean was priceless. Something to keep in mind are the steps to carry your luggage upstairs and the fact that you are surrounded by wildlife. Overall I rate my stay 5 stars.

Our stay at Jon’s place was absolutely wonderful! The house is truly breathtaking—beautiful, spotless, and even more impressive in person. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Jon was an exceptional host. He was incredibly warm, responsive, and attentive throughout our visit. Whenever we had a question, he replied quickly and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. His kindness and dedication really stood out. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely love to come back. Thank you, Jon, for your outstanding hospitality and for making our trip so memorable. Highly recommend!
