What a great adventure. This is our second time staying at a property with Jonathan as host. Always attentive and clear on instructions. We look forward to staying at a property hosted by Jonathan again.

Cute space and nice pool. The restaurants are walking distance and very tasty. We walked to La Fortune waterfall, a little bit steep but nice being able to walk there.

Nous sommes très satisfaits des trois nuits que nous avons passé dans la cabane. Accueil chaleureux, très bon petit déjeuner ( 7$) et emplacement parfait. Possible d’aller manger dans quelques restaurants à moins de 10 minutes de marche, sinon à moins de 10 minutes en voiture de la Fortuna. Belle piscine pour se rafraîchir!

Budget-friendly and welcoming stay in La Fortuna minutes from town. If you’re looking for a clean and affordable rental, this is a great choice. The balcony view is beautiful, and waking up to the sounds of nature every morning was a highlight. Breakfast is included, though we opted for other options after the first day for more protein variety. They freshen up the room daily and provide new towels, but no washcloths are provided—so bring your own if needed. The added laundry service (for a fee) was a huge plus, making it easy to pack light. Although the in-person hosts are very sweet and accommodating, they speak very little English, so keep that in mind. Jonathan, the owner, however, is a fantastic host—responsive, accommodating, and truly helpful. Overall, a solid stay for those looking for comfort on a budget!

The cabin is located on amazing property full of lush and beautiful vegetation. Walking distance to several amazing restaurants. The breakfast ($7 US) was amazing, and so convenient when we were heading out for our early morning excursions. The pool was perfect to relax at after our daily outings. Jonathan was an amazing host who responded to all of our questions in a timely manner, and helped us plan and book our excursions while in the area.

We stayed 3 nights at jonathan's place and had an amazing time! Check in was extremely easy, cabin and all amenities were great, complete with an amazing balcony view and clean refreshing pool. Great location, close enough to walk into town but still far enough out for some peace and quiet. Jonathan himself is an amazing host! Unlimited recommendations on places to eat, things to see, and booking any excursion or tour you can think of. Would definitely recommend for your next trip to La Fortuna.

Jonathan’s place was amazing! The view from balcony was breathtaking! We watched green iguanas and several bird species including Toucans in the trees. The place was clean, well located, and very relaxing! The pool is also very nice! Jonathan is a great host, answering all our questions very quickly. Gabriel, the on site manager was also very helpful, suggesting restaurants and stores. We highly recommend Jonathan’s place!!

Dès le début lors de notre réservation, j'avais plein de questions et Jonathan a toujours répondu avec patience! Gabriel nous a très bien accueilli. La piscine est super conviviale et les sentiers qui mènent à la rivière sont superbes avec toute la végétation, comme sur le site ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour et l'emplacement est très central pour toutes les activités à la Fortuna . Le balcon avec vue sur la forêt tropicale et les montagnes sont un plus très agréable. On se sent en pleine jungle. Merci encore Jonathan et Gabriel ❤️
