Casa Lutecia

Our stay there was simply amazing! We had a great contact with Natalia and she helped us on multiple occasions... You need to adapt yourself to the jungle (you wake up early), but that was one of the major draws of the location. The only slight drawback of the "life in the jungle" is there is no real way to cool and dry off. We had swimwear that stayed humid during the entire stay and there was one day that the fans just weren't enough. But that is just a minor griep on an otherwise perfect stay!

Private location, but not far from amenities in town. They recommended several great places in town. Enjoyed the stay. It is quite a hike to the beach, uphill on the way back. It was lovely to sit on the porch and enjoy the waves.

Such a peaceful place to vacation in beautiful Uvita. Just a quick walk to the beach, surrounding natural beauty. The porch was a bird (and monkey!) watcher's paradise. Natalia was an attentive, thorough and generous host, kindly delivered fresh coconut water upon arrival. As long as your car has AWD to make it up the hill, you are making a decision for a relaxing and peaceful stay in paradise.

We really enjoyed staying here, it felt like a pirates lair perched in the jungle on the edge of your own private beach. Being able to walk to multiple beaches was a highlight, with our 4 year old it made coming “home” and going on walkable adventures a breeze. I highly recommend staying here for an authentic experience. Waking up to dawn, sunset bathing in the clawfoot tub, and all night long ocean waves lulling you to sleep— it was a dream. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

We loved our stay at Casa Luceita. It was very private and a short walk to some of the nicest beaches we have seen yet in this part of Costa Rica. There were great ocean views from both patios and the open air jungle vibe of the Airbnb was exactly what we were looking for. We were also treated to monkey and toucan show from the place that was magical. We would book this place again for our next trip to Uvita!

The house is very nicely located and we immediately felt comfortable. Natalia personally welcomed us and showed us the most important things. Even during the stay, Natalia was very easy to reach and responded immediately. From the terrace, we could observe agoutis, hummingbirds, raccoons and many other animals. With the binoculars, we even saw humpback whales down in the sea. The view is amazing. At low tide, you can walk along the huge, deserted beach. We highly recommend Natalia & David's place. Thank you very much.

It was a real pleasure to stay at David and Natalia‘s beautiful property. We were comfortable and welcome upon first arriving. The location was second to none in proximity to the beach. It lived up to everything that was said about the area. Would recommend the home to anyone who would enjoy peaceful beaches, beautiful surrounding nature, lush greenery, and amazing birds.! thank you so much and we hope to visit again someday. This is a great place to connect with nature. The house is as described. Its rustic but was clean and comfortable. Without even leaving the house we were able to see monkeys, toucans, mackaws and other interesting birds. On the walk to Arco Beach we saw two more kinds of monkeys as well. The view of the ocean is nice and being right up against untouched jungle on one side made for great viewing opportunities. No neighbors are within sight, which is what we wanted. The hike down to the beach was really cool, though not as easy as I expected. I had no trouble with it but a couple of people in my group didn't want to do it due to physical limitations. But, it was no problem as we were able to drive down the road to the access point for the trail to Arco Beach (not to be missed!). A 4x4 vehicle was helpful for this. David was super helpful with recommendations and always available when needed! I definitely recommend this house for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet.
