The Space
This property is a brand-new, downstairs unit located in a quiet, private residential neighborhood surrounded by lush jungle and beautiful views. It shares the lot with an identical house next door. The home features two bedrooms, each furnished with queen-size beds, comfortably accommodating up to four adults.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove and oven, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and a coffee press. There is also a dining island for meals. Air conditioning is installed in every room to ensure comfort throughout your stay.
The bathroom is spacious and features rain shower heads. For entertainment and connectivity, the house offers high-speed internet and smart TVs. Security cameras monitor only the outdoor areas for your peace of mind.
You may encounter local wildlife such as sloths, hummingbirds, TiTi monkeys, toucans, scarlet macaws, and iguanas visiting the property. Maid service is available upon request, and laundry assistance can be arranged for $12 per load. Alternatively, a local laundromat is located just a few houses away.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire house. Shared outdoor spaces, including a new outdoor shower for rinsing off sand, may be used by guests from both units. Parking is available on the premises. While four-wheel drive is recommended, it is not mandatory.
Please note that the apartment has a private indoor bathroom and shower, so the outdoor shower is an additional amenity rather than the only option.

The apartment is beautiful. You can hear a lot from the upstairs apartment; luckily, we got quiet tenants. Getting there is a challenge. A car is a must, and if it's a 4x4, even better!

Overall, our stay was okay. Communication with the host was very fast, easy, and friendly. We really appreciated the helpful tips she sent us in advance. The location is good, right between Manuel Antonio and Quepos. However, having a car is highly recommended, as it makes getting around much easier. When we arrived, the room was unfortunately not ready, even though we had been told it would be. We waited about an hour while it was being cleaned. The cleanliness could be improved: some used cleaning items and a bath mat were left behind, the bed linens were not neatly made, there was a musty smell in the apartment, and the kitchen and floor did not seem fully cleaned. The beds were also very squeaky — even small movements made noticeable noise, which was uncomfortable, especially when sharing the bed. With some improvements in cleanliness and the beds, the stay would be much more pleasant. Otherwise, everything was okay.

After a last-minute decision to go to Costa Rica, we booked Heather’s place the same day we arrived. She was very quick to respond with instructions on getting into the place and local recommendations in the area. The apartment was very spacious and the air conditioning was great to come back to after a hot day on the beach. Definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.
