This place is actually paradise! Despite the communication problems due to the internet at the property not working, we did get to the location in the end and Luciano was very apologetic. He and his wife are sweet people, just not super internet savvy. I don't speak Spanish, and that would have helped. Despite the location being in a suburb, rather than centrally located as the map shows, it was quiet, private, clean and a little paradise! I would stay there again for sure, without hesitation. The property is well cared for, and the pool is immaculate! Heaven! We rented a 4 wheeler and that made it easier. The walk to and from the beach is a bit far, and very dusty. There is a small market just a block away, which is very helpful to get ingredients to cook breakfast or more substantial meals. Definitely stay here, but get directions well in advance, not when you arrive in country.

Everything was 1,000 out of 10. The apartment is tidy, clean and well-equipped. The pool is always clean and available. Excellent location. Close to beaches and shops. The best hosts, Luciano and Juanita are definitely excellent people, very pleasant and kind. In short, everything was more than excellent, they exceeded our expectations.

Luciano and Juanita could not have been kinder. He met us in town to help us find the house when we first arrived. The house is very private and surrounded by beautiful gardens. We had a whole wing to ourselves which was all new furnishings and construction. The pool was my happy place during the heat of the day. I would highly recommend staying with Luciano and Juanita.

Luciano & Juanita were very friendly, amicable & responsive. The place was very clean and well cared for. The place has a community feel, and the other guests were very friendly as well. My flight was delayed & Luciano waited for me for hours—very kind of him. The outdoor kitchen in my unit was a bit difficult. The burners never got hot enough to boil water and so I really couldn’t cook at all although I was expecting to. There is another unit under construction on the property as well with workers all during the day so the noise made it not very fun to hang out there. We had regular problems with the air conditioning. It didn’t work very well, and if we ran it, it would freeze over and drip ice and water onto us. If we didn’t run it, it was too hot. The circuit breaker also needed to be switched when it died completely. Overall the pool was great, it was very clean, and the people were great, I would consider staying here if you don’t plan on cooking.
