Host was responsive, house manager was quick to respond and helpful. The house looked as described in pictures. The private pool and beach were our favorites and why we booked this house. The downside is that we experienced a bug infestation in the master downstairs and was told by air bnb to evacuate immediately in the middle of our week stay and not go to another Air bnb. Finding 2 hotel rooms at the last second was very hard and only found 2 at the other end of the island with not great conditions which definitely put a big damper on our vacation and robbed us of one day and caused a lot of unnecessary stress. My elderly in laws got the worst of the bugs and have dealt with it more since returning home. We rented a golf cart from the air bnb hosts for the week and once we had evacuate they refused to refund us for the golf cart for the remainder of the time. There are also golf carts right across from the house. We left the house nice as we found it, garbages out and dishes done.

Our family of 5 was very comfortable, and we loved the house, the pool, and the grounds. Brian, our concierge, was super responsive--he even picked us up when our golf cart broke down.

Stayed a week with my family. Maria Ether was very responsive and had helpful recommendations. We mistakenly locked ourselves out one afternoon and they were there very quickly to let us in. Completely our fault.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Maria Esther's beautiful house! The house was spacious, pristinely clean, and provided all we needed for a quiet family vacation. The pool was perfect for us and the kids and the secluded feel was just what we were seeking. The backyard backs up right up to the beach and there were hardly any other people around. The water is shallow and great for wading and floating. The Tiburon Bar and Restaurant is easily accessible from the beach and provides a fun distraction, drinks, and food. Ivan, Francisco, and Bryan were extremely friendly and helpful with setting up a golf cart, taxis, and making sure we had all we needed. One morning Ivan provided some entertainment for one of our daughters by cutting up a fresh coconut and my dad enjoyed learning a bit more about the area from Francisco. The house was perfect for what we wanted and since the island is so small we had easy access to more lively areas both north and south. Loved our stay!!

The good - interior of the house, pool, communications, gardening and pool staff, automatic entry gate, golf cart rental right outside the house, beach directly walkout from house, calm ocean. The bad - the adjacent property is an abandoned hotel with graffiti and what seemed like squatters. They had large dogs without collars that would run around the beach that scared our daughter and she wouldn't go to the beach, but they seemed harmless. Two properties down is Playa Tiburon - great food/drinks, but 500+ people come in from Cancun every day and they wander down the beach towards the house. Specifically, we saw people smoking weed outside back gate and didn't feel comfortable going out when they were there. The pictures show an infinity pool, there isn't one. The pictures show a small gate to the beach, its a 12ft+ tall metal fence with a pad lock. We did not contact the mgmt team to solve the problems, we left halfway through. If we didn't have little kids, would have been fine.

Our family had a wonderful time at this beachfront house. The children could wake up and run down to the shore to play in the sand, likewise they were there in the evenings as the sun set. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the essentials so it was easy to prepare breakfast at the house as well as some dinners.

Large beautiful home, well maintained and very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. No hot tub even though we thought the pictures showed one. Bring bug spray! The beach is not a good swimming area since tour boats regularly use the dock nearby. Having a golf cart makes it very easy to get around. Brian was very helpful in securing one for our family of 6, delivering and returning for us. He was very helpful & responsive with anything we required. Excellent host.
