Casa Serena is a newly built luxury vacation home perched 300 feet above the Pacific Ocean. With three bedrooms and elegant, comfortable interiors, it accommodates up to six guests and offers sweeping ocean and mountain views.

The Space

Surrounded by dry tropical forest, Casa Serena provides a peaceful setting where guests may hear local howler monkeys moving through the trees. The home is located within the 900-acre Mar Vista community near Flamingo Beach.

The property was featured in the summer 2021 edition of Condé Nast Traveler’s blog as one of the 67 best vacation rentals in the world.

Casa Serena is professionally decorated and arranged entirely on one level, eliminating the need to navigate stairs. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by expansive views and carefully considered details designed for a relaxing stay.

A travel crib may be arranged through the concierge team, subject to availability and an additional charge.

Security Cameras

The property has eight security cameras located entirely around the exterior perimeter:

• Two cameras in the parking area
• Two cameras at the entrance of the house
• One camera outside the main door of a small casita-style room that is not available for rent
• One camera in a rear corner of the property facing the garden
• Two cameras in the pool area oriented toward the parking area and garden

The rear camera is near an outdoor shower, but the shower is outside its field of view.

Casa Serena is located within the 900-acre Mar Vista community near Flamingo and Brasilito Beach.

Location

Flamingo Beach is part of the Guanacaste Riviera and is located 3 miles from the property. The beach features a mile of white sand, with mild currents and tides suitable for swimming and sunbathing.

Playa Grande, one of the world’s most famous surfing beaches, is approximately 40 minutes away by car. The lively surf town of Tamarindo is also nearby, offering shopping, surf lessons, restaurants, and nightlife.

A rental car is recommended for convenient transportation throughout the area.

To help maintain community security, the person who made the reservation must present identification at check-in.

Mar Vista is a growing community, and construction in the area may occasionally cause daytime noise. The owners have asked neighboring properties to minimize disturbances, but construction activity is outside their control. Thank you for your understanding.
