Chuck's place was really well kept and made us feel right at home. Check in at the resort was easy and staff was super nice and helpful. We arrived at SBR per van and had stopped at the grocery store on the way. We did fall into the trap of greatly over paying as there were no price tags on most items. The cashier put in each single item by hand and we had no way of knowing what he actually charged us. Since we arrived off season the resort was dead with only a few owners there on the property we felt a bit isolated. No services were available to us & we couldn't use the beach much due to high winds, tons of seaweed and choppy water. We live a very active life in Flagstaff and so I was excited to make good use of the bikes that Chuck mentioned in his listing but quickly learned that they were useless. So don't count on it. Over all the resort was kept well & cleaned up daily. I was also looking forward to long beach walks which are impossible as neighboring properties don't clean up

Sapphire Beach was an amazing location! incredibly helpful staff, beautiful beach, nice pools, and luxury accommodations. The snorkeling company that they work with picked us up from our dock and gave us a personal guided tour. 10/10 would stay again.

Sapphire Beach is amazing ! The view from Chucks place was worth every penny. We knew about the road, but knowing and experiencing are very different . The staff were ALL warm and welcoming. We felt safe and secure there . We had a few issues such as the fridge wasn’t working the first night and most of the next day . Staff found us another one asap . The washer/dryer isn’t working but the resort washed and folded our clothes for no fee, which was much appreciated . We wonder when the last time Chuck and his wife have been there . Even though the kitchen is well stocked, everything is pretty old and in need of replacement. Same could be said for the bed. I loved the shower space, but again things are in need of repair ; shower head is clogged and old. It must be difficult for the owners being so far away to properly manage the place . We fully understand. Belize was a dream ! We would definitely recommend to family and friends . Melissa & Michael

We had a few hiccups but Chuck was responsive. Some of this was out of his control, but I do think the staff at the condo complex needs to better communicate with Chuck. They were confused when we checked in with 5 pp. I wasn't sure if they were going to allow it because they said it was for 2 pp. They ended up getting the condo ready for 5, but we had to twice ask for blankets and towels. The Internet was terribly slow and we couldn't stream anything. The front desk said there was a private Wifi but they didn't know the password. Don't expect to be able to do a zoom call until the private wifi is available. Chuck recd a tour provider but he was booked so we talked to the staff. They talked to us about options but said they could save us some money because they had "a guy". We went with the guy and saved $10 pp ... but they were almost 90 mins late, the boat was unsafe, and they didn't even take us to Mexican Rocks bc they weren't a registered tour. Staff got us $15pp refunded.

Once again we loved our stay at Sapphire. a previous review said that the shower was not hot, we had no problems with this. The resort was very quiet this time and the restaurant and tiki bar were often closed. It was nice to have a washing machine and drier which we used a couple of times. didn't have to bring so many clothes with us.

This one bedroom condo is perfect for visiting the north end of San Pedro. It is quite the drive from the airport or Belize express but worth it for the peacefulness of the property. It was nice to be able to have/make food. We were able to get a charter directly from the dock on the property. Host was responsive to the issues we had (breaker for the water heater had gone out) that was no fault of theirs. We would absolutely stay here again! Also, the onsite eatery was good!

Sapphire Beach is a stunning property. If we were to ever move to Ambergris Caye, we'd want to be here at Chuck's property. The condo unit was plenty big for the two of us and would be big enough to accommodate 2 more using the futon. Clean, well kept, comfortable... no complaints at all about the place. The view is the beach and ocean... gorgeous. The staff that manages the property was kind and communicated well. On-site security, daily beach clean up, and restaurant were all nice. Kayaks and paddle boards being right there were great. We booked a snorkel adventure from a company that picked us up right at the dock too. A few local restaurants are nearby as well. Overall this was a wonderful stay. The road getting in is an unfinished clay / dirt road that takes about 45min from town to reach by golf cart. It is bumpy getting there... but that is literally everywhere on the island. It's all part of the adventure. Just be prepared to bring in whatever you want from town.

The resort was easy enough to find. It does take 1 hour by golf cart to get there and the roads are a bit rough, but once you get there it's very peaceful. They were very responsive to us before arrival. The staff at the resort wee wonderful and very friendly
