The Space
Vanilla Orchid is a private island retreat on Caye Caulker, combining modern design with contemporary amenities. A surrounding wall creates a secluded setting where you can unwind on the shaded patio, relax in the pool, or work remotely while embracing a nomadic lifestyle.
Situated in a quiet yet conveniently located part of the island, the home makes it easy to adopt the island motto, “Go Slow.”
The main house includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A dining area
- A living room with a television
- A primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom
The second bedroom is located in the adjoining casita, which is accessible from the patio and also features an en suite bathroom.
Outside, the patio offers:
- An outdoor dining table
- A seating area
- Lounge chairs beside the pool
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire property, including the garage, where four bicycles and pool floats are available.
A safe is provided for storing valuables during your stay. Please follow the instructions supplied with the safe.
Additional Information
The pool is serviced daily except Sunday, typically in the late afternoon. Guests are asked to allow access to the yard for servicing but do not need to be present.

Great place - the pictures online are great but was even better in real life. The hosts were extremely helpful and helped with all Our transfers. Loved it, highly recommend.

Great place. The pictures almost don't do it justice. Very private and pretty pool setting. Secure. Good amenities. Responsive host. We would stay here again if ever in Caye Caulker.

This home was a beautiful hidden oasis tucked away on the quieter side of the island. It was clean, well-equipped, and the included bikes were a huge help for getting around! Although it was about a 20-minute walk to the main attractions and festivities, it was absolutely worth it. After spending time in the busy areas, it was so nice to return to a peaceful, quiet space and end each night away from the crowds and noise. A special shout-out to Israel, the property manager, for his excellent communication and willingness to help with anything we needed. He made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is excellent. The pictures are exactly what you will get. Having access to bikes is essential and the washing machine was so helpful! I have traveled to Caye Caulker many times and this is by far the nicest accommodation I have experienced on this island. The only reason I do not give five stars was because it was tricky to find and the check in/check out instructions were not totally clear. Hopefully this is something that can easily be improved to make this a five star accommodation!

Really amazing stay … Amy was incredibly helpful at booking and Israel & Mary were AWESOME from the moment we arrived. The place was fabulous in a nice quiet area but close to everything. Rick & I are already looking forward to another stay!
