One of the oldest buildings in the village of La Cruz, with all amenities, refurbished kitchen, terrace, large garden, garage for two cars. Conveniently located in the center of town, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, ATMs and gas stations. And only 7 km from the nearest beach, it is the ideal accommodation to know all the beaches in the area. The space The house features 3 bedrooms; 3 double beds and one twin. The kitchen is remodeled and equipped with everything you need. The bathroom has a shower heater. The master bedroom on the first floor has portable air conditioning, the other rooms on the second floor have fans. On the terrace there is a barbecue for BBQ and in the patio there are fruit trees and hammocks. Guest access They have access to the whole house. Other things to note Being located in the center of town there can be excess noise in the evenings on weekends, because of the business and commercial premises that are near the house. There's plenty of space, so we like to welcome travelers with pets. We are also open to negotiating the price for long-term stays.

Unfortunately, the pictures do not give a realistic picture of the actual state of the house. The entire house would need to be renovated and modernized. We felt uncomfortable and left earlier than planned. Pablo was kind enough to reimburse us for part of the cost. We cannot understand the previous five-star reviews.

We loved staying at Pablo's place! It's centrally located in La Cruz and it was very easy to get to nearby beaches. The house had a two car garage, which was great. The house itself was charming, well decorated, and very clean. The backyard patio was really pleasant and we spent a lot of time sitting out enjoying the view of the backyard. Pablo was a great host, too! Very responsive & helpful. We'll definitely stay again if we're back in La Cruz!

we have been travelling inCosta Rica for the past5 weeks this was definitely a highlight A unique 2 storey house one of the oldest in Ls Cruz, lots of space , well equipped and a lovely wild garden, wood turtles under the house , interesting bird life..a real treat of a stay. Next door is Roberto who manages the house and is also a local guide. we couldn't praise him highly enough and with him we had our best wildlife trips so far. it feels a long way from the crowded tourist areas, if you enjoy seeing the real Costa Rica this is the place for you

We loved our stay in this unique old house. All the thriving indoor plants made me feel right at home and the patio and yard were lovely to relax in any time of day. Plenty of food and grocery options within walking distance and a short drive to several beautiful and peaceful beaches. The kitchen had all the basic things we needed for our stay and Pablo was very responsive and accommodating.

My wife, our 2 dogs and I stayed at Pablo's for a whole week. We teleworked without any problems. The internet is very fast and stable. Pablo is an excellent host and very communicative. The house is in the center of La Cruz. Walkable to supermarkets and restaurants. Despite being downtown, it's a private place and you can't hear the noise. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you might need to cook. The only detail that took us by surprise is that the noise from the adjoining apartment can be heard and the privacy in the courtyard is a bit lost. The courtyard is spectacular, large and full of trees. Several types of birds arrive. The beaches are about 30 minutes away by car and are beautiful. I would recommend this stay and stay here again.

It's an old house, but is perfect for staying. You have everything you need and the location is close to everything you could want. Check in was easy and simple. We stayed an entire week and the house IS suitable for pets, which was very important to me. Cleaning service was great too. Loved this place. Pablo was very attentive and clear while communicating.
