Casa ALUEM is situated in the Las Brisas neighborhood of Uvita, a small, organized community with permanent residents. The gravel road from the Costanera Highway to the house winds through lush tropical forest alongside a creek that attracts diverse wildlife.
The property is just a 5-minute walk from the La Colonia entrance to Marino Ballena National Park and approximately 1,500 meters (an 8-minute walk) from Colonia Beach and the park’s second station.
The elevation of the property ensures a constant breeze from the creek throughout the day. Guests can enjoy the sounds of ocean waves, birdsong at dawn, and the howls of monkeys visiting the forest garden and tree canopies nearby.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could hope for. The hosts truly thought of everything, from little touches like local snacks and fresh coffee to recommendations for places to eat and explore nearby. This is the second time I rent the place (1st was via google). And I cant say how much I like it! The location was perfect – close enough to everything yet tucked away for some peace and quiet. The view from the balcony was amazing I felt like in the jungle, and it was a joy to wake up there each morning. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. Thank you for an amazing stay!

If you are looking at this place..book it! The home has everything you need plus much more. It’s in the rain forest close to town and all the things we love about Costa Rica. Tours, beaches, Diving, snorkeling, zip lining and the rain forest. Ana the host was incredibly helpful with the tours and info about the area. We have been to Costa Rica 10 times and by far it’s the place you want to go! If you have the luck to book this when you go to Southern Costa Rica then this would be an outstanding choice, not just for the home but for the host Ana and her wealth of info about the area. Just book don’t think twice!
