The Space

Casa Dos Cocos is located within the gated Guiones Beach Club, just a two-minute walk from the beach via a private path. The property accommodates up to 11 guests between the main house and a private studio, making it well suited to families.

Authentic Balinese furnishings blend with Costa Rican character throughout the home. Guests can enjoy a saltwater pool, lush jungle surroundings filled with monkeys and parrots, and the sound of waves from the house.

The property includes:

• Starlink and a second internet line
• Solar power with battery backup
• Backup water tanks
• Filtered drinking water from the tap
• Limited parking for two small cars

Bedrooms and Sleeping Arrangements

The main house has three bedrooms, while the private studio provides an additional bedroom and bathroom.

• Master bedroom: Sleeps 2 in a king-size bed; includes an ensuite bathroom and ample closet space.
• Kids’ bunk room: Sleeps 3 with bunk beds and a single bed.
• Garden bedroom: Sleeps 4 with a king-size bed and two single trundle beds; includes a desk and can also serve as a home office.
• Studio bedroom: Sleeps 2 in a king-size bed; includes a full bathroom, large desk, and access to the west-facing terrace and roof deck.

The studio offers additional privacy and is ideal for guests who need to work or would like a quieter space. The roof deck is a peaceful spot for stargazing while listening to the waves nearby.

The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining space, and sitting area.

Outdoor Areas

The kitchen opens onto a covered patio overlooking the pool and jungle. The patio includes:

• Large round dining table
• Separate seating area with two sofas
• Balinese coffee table
• Two ceiling fans

A short set of steps leads to the saltwater pool, which is approximately 5.5 feet deep. The pool has two built-in stools positioned near a large sliding window, allowing guests in the pool and living room to converse easily. The surrounding trees provide shade and help keep the water cool.

One step above the pool, the covered rancho includes:

• Four comfortable chairs facing the pool and ocean
• Charcoal Weber barbecue grill
• Large round table
• Half bathroom
• Sink
• Ample counter space
• Two beverage refrigerators

The west-facing rancho is a relaxing place to spend the afternoon, with easy access to the pool and beautiful surroundings. It also provides access to the laundry room, which has a washer and dryer.

Gardens and Wildlife

Casa Dos Cocos is surrounded by lush gardens that attract local wildlife, including monkeys, parrots, and iguanas. The natural setting adds to the authentic Costa Rican experience.

Location

Guiones Beach Club is located in the prestigious K Section of Nosara, offering one of the area’s most convenient locations. Casa Dos Cocos is:

• A two-minute walk from Baker’s Beach and its excellent surf
• Close to the tide pools at the southern end of Playa Guiones
• Near the Bodhi Tree, a well-known yoga and wellness retreat
• A short distance from the shops and restaurants of Guiones

The waves can be heard from the house, creating a peaceful atmosphere while keeping the beach and town within easy reach.

Guest Access and Parking

Parking is limited to two small cars. Please inquire before arrival for additional guidance.

Important Information

Local Conditions

As in any jungle town, guests should expect some dust, insects, and occasional utility outages. The property’s backup systems help provide additional support during interruptions.

Security

The Beach Club has a gated guard and night patrols. Guests should lock the property when leaving and avoid leaving valuables in cars or on patios. The host cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Occupancy

The home is most comfortable for up to nine guests, but it can accommodate 10–11 guests upon request. Groups larger than nine should contact the host before booking to review the sleeping arrangements and confirm that the setup is suitable.

Housekeeping

Stays of one week or longer include mid-stay housekeeping service. Guests staying for shorter periods may arrange a mid-week cleaning for an additional charge.
