It is a comfortable, centrally located house. The host was very friendly. They left us water, coffee and a fruit basket to enjoy during the stay. We were able to rest comfortably. There is access to nearby food, pharmacies, a market and convenience stores. Excellent. We would definitely stay again.

The place is fine, there were 10 of us and we slept comfortably. They spoiled us by leaving enough fruit and water for the stay. If you are going to stay there, you have to keep in mind that right on that whole block there are street food stalls, so the sidewalk is invaded with the benches that they put for people to eat and it is difficult to walk and it is at the entrance table, so just keep in mind to maneuver with the suitcases and above all keep in mind that the windows are completely closed because in our case one was open and the smell of food was very strong in the room and even in the clothes that stayed there. It's just a detail to take into account, and there is some noise from that street, but it doesn't take away from the 10 rating. If you have a car, consider adding the cost of parking. lo

We were a group of 7 people who stayed at Gerardo's place before, during, and a few days after Day of the Dead in Oaxaca. This is an EXTREMELY festive time in the city. Gerardo's place is great for a large group---plenty of room. It's close to the Zocalo and markets, and an easy walk to many places in the city for shopping and restaurants. Beware that during the celebration of Day of the Dead, the streets are very busy and noisy, meaning that you'll probably need earplugs to sleep well in the two bedrooms that face the street. Food vendors set up their stalls in front of the apt door, so you will always smell delicious food, but you will also hear a lot of setting up and taking down of the stalls. On the other hand, you may be surprised a few times with amazing parades going the street. You'll be glad you have a balcony to watch them from. Gerardo left us coffee and fruit and accommodated an early checkin. He was also ready to answer any questions we had. Great host, great place.

The house is very well located, large rooms and with all the amenities, we were greeted with a huge basket of fruit and coffee that we loved. The only thing is that because it is too central, there is noise in the street and more so during the holiday season, but the comfort it has made that detail less important. Highly recommended

It's a place with a prime and central location. The place is very spacious and comfortable, in addition to the amenities it has. Gerardo is a great host, always ready to help and make sure everything is okay. If I return to Oaxaca, I'll stay here again.

We loved Gerardo’s accommodation. It was very clean, wonderfully located, spacious, and very comfortable. Gerardo was very attentive at all times. Once, my son got sick, and he offered to help us with anything we needed. We loved it. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Thank you so much, Gerardo. We’ll try to return.

Gerardo’s place was amazing! Was one of the best Airbnb‘s I have ever stayed at. It was so spacious! There was ample room for a group of 11 and was updated nicely. We essentially had the third floor of a building. It was huge! It was also had everything we could need for our group. It is just a couple blocks off of the center of the city. There was ample things to do and places to eat. We especially enjoyed the balcony where we could watch all of the action from above. Would stay again!

A perfect location for a big group seeking to be at the heart of everything in Oaxaca. Blocks from the Zocalo and the two major downtown markets, you couldn't ask for a more convenient and safe location. We were a family of six who fit very comfortably into the apartment. Gerardo was responsive and helpful, and even brought us more pots and pans so that we could cook a big Christmas dinner.
