The Space

The El Niño room features a high-quality queen-size bed and a bunk bed, comfortably accommodating three guests. A private bathroom is located adjacent to the room for your convenience.

This front room is entirely separate from the main house and has its own private entrance, ensuring no entry into the main living areas. The main home is shared only with another guest bedroom and our dog, Otto.

The house includes three bedrooms in total. The front bedroom has been transformed into a self-sufficient studio with a private entrance, and there is also an independent casita at the front. The outdoor front area and pool are shared among all guests.

There is ample shelf space in the room for your personal belongings.

Location

We are situated in Hacienda Iguana, just a two-minute walk from Playa Colorado. This cozy home offers easy access to the surf, making you feel right at home.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire home, including the living area, kitchen, pool, and outdoor spaces at both the front and back of the property.

During Your Stay

Although we live in the home, we will be away for a few weeks during your visit. Either my housekeeper or I will be available to manage the property.

We are happy to assist with any questions, arrange transportation, boat trips, massages, private chefs, or provide recommendations for other beach spots and travel within Nicaragua.

Other Things to Note

Our family includes one Nicaraguan rescue dog named Otto and a cat named Tora, who mostly stays outdoors.

Air conditioning is included in the rate and intended primarily for nighttime use or brief cooling periods during the day. To keep prices affordable, please use the air conditioning efficiently. If you plan to use it for more than 12 hours per day in total, there is an additional charge of $10 per day. This policy especially applies to guests working online full-time.
