The Space

Suite #19 is our newest and most modern accommodation. This single-story, first-floor suite features an open layout with a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom. It includes a 58-inch smart TV, high-speed WiFi, a small dining table, and a comfortable sofa, providing a true home-away-from-home experience.

The suite was completely renovated in October 2022.

Hotel Overview

Hotel Jaco is an all-suites beach resort located on the most pristine section of Jaco Beach, just steps from the town center. It is the only five-star hotel in Jaco and was honored as TripAdvisor’s Hotel of the Year in 2022. There is nothing between the hotel and the ocean except sand, offering direct beach access.

Suites

There are 18 suites in total:

• Suites #1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10: 420 square feet pool-view suites with living rooms, wet bars featuring reverse osmosis filtered drinking water, and private balconies or patios.
• Suite #5: Slightly smaller than the others.
• Suites #11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17: Oceanfront one-bedroom suites with private balconies.
• Suite #18: Handicapped-accessible suite.

Pool and Outdoor Areas

The pool and all outdoor spaces were fully remodeled in 2021, making it the finest pool area in Jaco. Guests can enjoy beverage service by the pool, new comfortable lounge chairs, and plenty of shaded areas.

Bar and Restaurant

Our bar and restaurant operate as a beach bar, pool bar, and dining venue all in one. Friendly bartenders serve excellent cocktails alongside a selection of Costa Rican craft beers. The atmosphere is lively, especially during Happy Hour.

Spa

The spa is managed by Shirley, considered the best masseuse in Costa Rica. A $70 massage with Shirley is highly recommended, and in-suite massages are also available.

Gym

The gym by Rogue™ is dedicated to strength training and features a Rogue rack, plates, barbell, and dumbbells. It is unique in Costa Rica for its quality equipment. Note that there is no cardio equipment, as the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for cardio exercise.

Beach

The beach is directly accessible from the hotel, with views and sounds of the ocean from every part of the property. There are no streets or traffic to cross—just lush green grass, sand, and the ocean.

Parking

Free parking is available right in front of the hotel in a newly constructed lot. A night guard is on duty to ensure vehicle security.

Surroundings

Behind the hotel runs a river rich in wildlife, contributing to the secluded feel of the property. Over 500 white egrets roost in the trees nearby each night.

Bedding and Climate Control

• Beds feature premium memory foam hybrid mattresses, the most expensive available in Costa Rica.
• Sheets are made from soft bamboo fabric.
• Each suite is equipped with Cooltek dual inverter air conditioners in every bedroom and a separate unit in the living room, all with traditional thermostats.

Internet

The hotel offers fast and reliable WiFi through two 200 Mbps modems from Cable Tica combined with a fiber connection from FastNet. The network is distributed via the latest Ubiquity system, with an access point in every suite.

Staff and Services

Reception is staffed 24 hours a day by friendly personnel ready to assist guests. Housekeeping is managed by Arlen and Emi, maintenance by Nixon, the spa by Shirley, and hotel management by Ramon. All team members are local Costa Ricans dedicated to providing excellent service.

Guest Access

Guests have 24-hour access to reception and free parking on-site. A car is not necessary, as all of Jaco is within a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
