Casa Alegria is a charming, cozy two-story home and one of six sought-after houses within the private, boutique beachfront complex Las Hamacas.
The Space
Approximately 3,700 square feet, Casa Alegria overlooks the garden and pool area and is surrounded by lush tropical greenery. The home features exquisite Mexican finishes and artwork, along with comfortable built-in outdoor sofas beneath a charming pergola.
The first floor includes:
- Two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom
- An additional built-in sleeping space in each bedroom
- A private outdoor living and kitchenette area overlooking the pool
Upstairs, the exposed-brick cupola creates a distinctive focal point. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen is ideal for entertaining guests.
The master bedroom includes:
- A king-size bed
- An en-suite bathroom
- An additional built-in sleeping couch
All bedrooms have air conditioning. The Casita Studio may also be available if you require a fourth bedroom.
Guest Access
Location
Las Hamacas is located at the beginning of the quiet, clean North End neighborhood, closest to town. The property is approximately a seven-block, level walk from town with no hills. Restaurants and stores are nearby, while the complex remains peacefully removed from the town’s activity.
Beachfront Property
The property is just steps from the beach. This section of Sayulita’s beach is clean, free of rocks, suitable for swimming, and generally uncrowded. It is close enough to walk to the main beach in town while still offering a more private setting.
On-Site Staff
Responsive on-site staff are available to assist with any issues:
- Front desk receptionist: 9:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
- Caretaker: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Night guard: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
- Property manager available at all times for emergencies
Las Hamacas is a family-run business that has specialized in hospitality for more than 15 years.
Studio Casita
The Studio Casita is located near the entrance to the property and is rented separately. It is ideal for guests who need a fourth bedroom.
Shared Pool
The beautiful pool is surrounded by lush landscaping and shared by all six homes.
Common Area
All guests are welcome to enjoy the covered common area, which includes:

This was a great place to stay. We had two couples and two children with us. The place was awesome. Right by the pool, a few steps from the beach. Clean and had everything we needed. The house book was great for references in the town. It is walkable but we got golf carts that made it really nice. Juan was awesome and very friendly, got us everything we asked for. Would stay again and recommend it to others. Each room has their own bathroom. The pool is shared but only with the other homes on the property. It was clean and really nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Alegria! The location is great… quiet enough for good sleep on the northern end of town, close enough to walk to everything… House is clean and comfortable… staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t see the ocean from our building but we were steps to the beach and steps to restaurants and town yet it was quiet and peaceful. Wonderful indoor living spaces and outside living spaces. Kitchen was well equipped. There were beach toys and beach chairs and umbrella. Our only disappointment was that the pool was quite cold in January. A warmer pool would have kept our kids more occupied.

We stayed at Casa Alegria with another family and it was perfect! So many different spaces for us to hang out - everybody had enough space to have privacy when they wanted it. The location right across from the pool was perfect for our pool-loving kiddos (7,7,5). Loved having the umbrella and beach chairs to use at the beach. The location was great - an easy flat walk to get anywhere (clutch with the littles!). We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back at some point!
