Ballena by the Sea, Beach access

Amazing place! Photos don’t do the home justice; short walk to what is practically a private beach. Moreover our hosts were so incredibly helpful—from supporting us with directions our drive down from San Jose to giving detailed recommendations on local sites. Definitely the best hosts we’ve experienced.

. We felt so welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. The pool was beautiful and was a highlight for both the adults and the kids. There was plenty of space for our group of three families, which made our time together very enjoyable. The kitchen was accessible and fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. We also appreciated the recommendation for the grocery service, as it was extremely helpful since we did not have a car. Their support made our experience even more convenient and pleasant. The beach was within walking distance, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We truly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend your home to others. Thank you again for everything. We are grateful for the warm hospitality and all the thoughtful touches that made our visit special.

A beautiful home in a private gated community. The pool was comfortable and the house is beautiful and clean. Just down the road is the Pacific on a very private beach. Vivian Frank is a great host and answers questions quickly and makes great recommendations. We loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I rented Vivian's place for 10 days over my birthday! The house was fantastic. Super clean and so comfortable. Comfy beds, great layout, clean everything with no funky odors (yay!). We loved the open air feel of the kitchen/living/outdoor spaces and spent most of our time in the mornings and late evenings on the patio and in the pool watching the Macaws, parrots, toucans and monkeys in the trees around the back yard. The rest of the time we were walking through the jungle to the beach and back, seeing something new each time. This was one of our favorite parts! It is a very small neighborhood so very private with a few friendly neighbors you may pass on your way in and out. Overall we felt the peace and quiet of this place. We will be back!
