The Space

Casa Guarumo is a spacious and comfortable property in the heart of Monteverde, surrounded by nature and within walking distance of the cloud forest.

The property has five private bedrooms and can accommodate up to 22 guests, making it ideal for large families or groups of friends. Three bedrooms are located in the main house, while two are separate apartments connected by small hallways. Every bedroom has a private bathroom.

The house also features generous shared spaces designed for a cozy and enjoyable cloud forest experience. Each room has its own entrance, providing privacy while allowing guests to come together naturally in the social areas.

About the House

Casa Guarumo is surrounded by beautiful gardens and ancient trees that provide a habitat for thousands of birds. Guests can enjoy their vivid colors and distinctive songs throughout the property.

The atmosphere is peaceful and well suited to those seeking quiet, privacy, and a deeper connection with nature. At certain times, however, guests may hear the natural sounds of birds and exotic insects or encounter wildlife native to the area.

On some days, a small group of monkeys visits the balcony. Their presence and varied calls are a reminder that the house is part of a living natural environment—an essential part of the Monteverde experience.

Santa Elena, the central town and unofficial capital of Monteverde, is only a short drive away. The town is easy to explore on foot and offers:

Accessibility and Important Information

Monteverde is an alpine-style area, and homes commonly include steps and stairs.

This property is not suitable for guests with physical conditions that make climbing stairs or steps difficult or impossible. It does not have accessibility features for people with disabilities.
