Unfortunately, we had to shorten our stay due to several issues we encountered upon arrival, including cleanliness concerns, insects in the bedrooms, shower water-control problems, and a maintenance issue that affected our comfort. We also found that the property’s location was not as represented on the Airbnb map. Based on the listing, we expected it to be around the park which it was not. That said, we appreciate that the host remained courteous, communicative, and cooperative throughout the process and worked with us toward an amicable resolution. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests, as the property has potential and beautiful interiors.

Such a beautiful and charming place with great views from the balconies and plenty of space for relaxing. Peaceful yet very close to center of town. Christina and the house manager Jimena were great. They both are very responsive and helpful. My family and I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely return.

This option is a gem in SMA, very careful and tasteful details. In addition to having all the basics for cooking without having to buy (oil, vinegar, condiments, eggs, bread, cookies, bananas, milk, drinking water... wow! All this is a plus that is appreciated) in addition to a very quiet location that we value a lot but at the same time an easily walkable distance to get to the center and restaurants. The host and her assistant are very willing to help with everything. We will definitely be back!!!

Thank you for the beautiful stay Christina and Jimena! We loved our time in San Miguel de Allende celebrating a few friends 40th birthdays. Your home was incredible and loved the local guidebook provided for guests as well! Jimena was so wonderful--from meeting us at check-in, to the delicious breakfast, to communicating on Whats App--we appreciated you so much as our "local host"! We hope to return to SMA and would love to stay here again.

Beautiful house! We loved our stay in SMA and really enjoyed the beauty of Casa Verde. Christina was very helpful with recommendations and we used Gregorio for pick up and drop off at the airport which made arriving and leaving seamless. The house came well-stocked which also made life easy for us! We walked everywhere during our stay and found the location walkable for everything we wanted to do. It may be harder for the very young or old though given the uneven cobblestones.

Christina’s place is an amazingly beautiful, relaxing and comfortable oasis, just far enough for peaceful nights of sleep but also close enough to walk to everything quickly! Super responsive host. We had zero issues and loved every minute of our stay. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Christina and her house manager are 10/10 when it comes to responsiveness, taking care of us as guests, and making sure our experience was top notch. Can’t recommend this home or , Christina and her team, enough!

The home was clearly gorgeous at one time. Parts of it now feel shabby and well -worn, and didn’t match the photos. It needs some refreshing! Hot water was a problem, but the host responded to that problem immediately; even then it wasn’t adequate, at least in one of the bathrooms. Also, two of the bedrooms, the primary and the loft, do not have doors so you can hear everything happening in the kitchen and living room. The views are gorgeous from both patios; a true treasure. Important note to seniors…. Stairs everywhere, often without a railing to hold on to and no handrails in the slippery showers. All of that said, Christina is certainly one of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. Her staff is first class and I would consider renting from her again.
