The Nest
The Nest is a private two-bedroom home elevated 8 meters above the ground, with a private pool featuring massage jets and views across Tamarindo Bay. Designed to resemble a bird’s nest, it sits within the gated Cocoon Tamarindo hillside estate, which includes four independent homes.
The beach, restaurants, surf lessons, and grocery stores are approximately 1.5 kilometers away, or a five-minute drive down the hill.

Views and Surroundings
The Nest overlooks Tamarindo Bay, the estuary, and the protected shoreline of Las Baulas National Marine Park. The bay offers sunset views, while howler monkeys inhabit the trees surrounding the estate and may be heard loudly at dawn.
Location and Transportation
The beach, surf lessons, restaurants, and grocery stores are about 1.5 kilometers away and can be reached in approximately five minutes by car.
The road leading up to the estate is too steep for golf carts, so guests should rent a car or use Uber for transportation. Parking is available inside the gated property.

Absolutely beautiful property. The pool was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The Nest had everything we needed, was very private, and well appointed. Location was just a 5 min drive to beaches and restaurants. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

I don’t think you can beat this combination of price and location, while still being private. Walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Steps away from bar/restaurant and less than 100m to another location with coffee/breakfast/food truck. Easy walk to nearest market as well. The courtyard and pool could have been kept in a little better condition vs photos, but this is still 5 star stay based on all things stated above.

Great host who provided detailed information about the property. It was a unique and enjoyable experience, especially if you appreciate nature. The beach is less than a 10-minute drive away. Just remember to keep the lights off at night, as there are a lot of bugs in the area. Overall, a very cool place to stay!

Do not hesitate to book this once in a lifetime view! It is absolutely stunning and Anna’s place looks exactly like the photos! Even more incredible in person! We watched the sunset from our private pool every night, absolutely stunning. We hope to be back sooner rather than later.
