Guest Access
Inspire Costa Rica is located in Fraijanes de Alajuela on a farm covering more than 50,000 square meters in the mountains. Guests can explore the landscapes and trails on foot or by bicycle while experiencing the area’s agriculture and natural surroundings.
From the property, you can see Poás Volcano to the north and Barva Volcano to the east. The location is especially well suited to guests who enjoy the mountains.
Although the access road is unpaved, it is suitable for small vehicles such as a Corolla or Swift. Sport utility vehicles are highly recommended. Very low vehicles, including sports cars, are not recommended because of the terrain.
Breakfast
Inspire Costa Rica provides a typical breakfast in the room at no additional cost. Alternatively, guests can receive a 50% discount on breakfast at partner restaurants.
Exploring the Property
Guests are welcome to walk freely around the property. Behind the property, to the left when leaving the cabin, you will find a viewpoint overlooking Barva Volcano.
You can also descend through the wooded area along the natural trails. At the lower part of the property, a hillside overlooks the river, which marks the property boundary.

Nice place to get away from the city and the daily grind. The host was always attentive and helped us arrange local taxis to get around better. The breakfast was very delicious, and they gave us a portion for my baby.

Everything is perfect actually. The calm and peace of the place is 20/10. The entrance is the most complicated part, the road, but you enjoy the trip.

We had an amazing time at this Airbnb. The location was beautiful, the room was clean, the host was attentive and responsive. I would absolutely go back and would recommend to anyone. I read a few comments mentioning issues with leaks or having no warm water, which made me hesitate when I was booking this location. I'm happy to report that we did not experience any such issue. I will note that while there is warm water, it does run out after a bit, but as long as you take a quick shower, you won't have any issues; this is just the nature of having a remote cabin. Additionally, be aware that you will need to go off-road to reach the location, so I'd recommend renting a vehicle that is a bit higher off the ground. I was still able to get to the cabin and really enjoyed the experience of driving there, but the little vehicle we rented did not enjoy it as much; If you drive carefully you'll probably be fine. Overall, loved everything about it and will likely be back.

I have stayed here many times over the years. Service used to be amazing. Over time it has got worse. On this last stay commutation was not prompt. You get breakfast with your stay you need to order the day prior. I had an early flight this morning. Asked for 6:30 breakfast within their timeframe. No one responded. No breakfast in the morning. Nothing was done to make me feel better about the situation. Let Jhonny know as I usually do and all he said was. Oh sorry no one read your message. Nor me or my staff. Maybe a credit or some type of compensation would have been appropriate but nothing. Cost me $30 for breakfast at the airport. Not impressed.

This is not my first time staying here. It is alittle out of the way of you want access to the city of San Jose but amazing if your heading out to arenal. Jhonny is an amazing host always takes care of what ever requests I have.

Nice mountain place with a beautiful view. The sound system is excellent, and the lighting selection is very good. The privacy of the place is not what we expected for a place with a shower overlooking the outside, as there are people walking in front of the Airbnb and it is possible to see everything inside. Overall, it is a very nice place and worth going to if you take the previous reviews into account.
