The place was perfect for us. It was quiet, clean, and a short 5 min walk to the beach. There were several places to tent either surf boards, boogie boards, or bikes. The beach was incredible. It was huge, not busy, had great waves for surfing or playing, and soft white sand. Despite the small town, there were at least 5 restaurants within walking distance, and they were all extremely delicious with many options. Kai was a great host; friendly, communicative, and even provided a mid week cleaning. I will definitely be back to this area, and probably Kai’s place.

We thought the casita was exactly perfect for the stay we were looking for. Kai was super nice, responsive, checked on us during our stay, but mostly left us alone. We spent a lot of time out, but when we were there we enjoyed watching the monkeys in the tree around us, the iguanas scattering about, the black hawks circling for prey…it was just awesome. While we didn’t have a/c, we found that we were very comfortable at night and slept great with the fresh air blowing through. Should we ever have opportunity to visit again, we’d absolutely stay at the casita again. Thank you, Kai!

Craig’s place is quaint and perfect. Perfect for a couple. 10 minute walk to a fantastic beach. We do not surf but, it was the best boogie boarding we have done in our lives. Craig is very sweet and communicates quickly whenever you have any needs. We saw a family of howler monkeys. from our back porch. It was a fantastic stay.

Great place in its own little area of Playa Grande. Felt very safe and the place gave kind of rustic surf cabin vibes which I loved. Easy walk to the beach or around the Playa Grande area.

a cute house with 360 views into a beautiful garden. lots of birds around, and 5-10 minutes walking to the beach over quiet paths. well-equipped kitchen. can get a bit noisy if windy. Kai was very friendly and accommodating

We spent 2 great nights at Kai's place. The casita is decorated with a lot of love and is located in a beautiful well-kept garden in the middle of nature. We were visited by coati and howler monkeys. The beach is within easy walking distance and offers beautiful sunsets. Kai also lives on the property and is always available and super nice.
