Casa Magia

Overview

Perched on the north-side hill overlooking Sayulita, Casa Magia is a three-bedroom, four-bathroom villa featuring a soaring 30-foot palapa, spectacular ocean views, and a 40-foot swimming pool.

The beach is 800 yards away, while Sayulita’s main square is three-quarters of a mile from the house. This location offers a peaceful retreat with convenient access to the ocean, shops, and restaurants.

The Space

Casa Magia includes:

• Three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom
• One full bathroom on the palapa level
• 40-foot heated swimming pool
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Wi-Fi throughout the house and pool area
• Air conditioning in every bedroom
• Multiple terraces with lounge chairs and hammocks
• Gas barbecue
• Water filtration system

Because the house is located on a steep hill, renting a golf cart is recommended. The beach is approximately a five-minute ride away, with the town center only a few minutes farther. This provides a peaceful setting while keeping Sayulita’s attractions within easy reach.

House Layout

Top Level

The top level features a spacious palapa room with floor-to-ceiling doors and windows offering 270-degree views of the ocean and jungle. This level includes:

• Fully equipped kitchen
• Dining area
• Multiple terraces for relaxing, reading, grilling, or watching the sunset over the Pacific
• Gas barbecue
• Full bathroom

The kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. Utensils, cookware, and glassware are also provided.

Middle Level

The middle level contains two bedrooms:

• Master suite with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom
• Second bedroom with a queen-size bed, a single bed, and an en-suite bathroom

Both rooms feature:

• Floor-to-ceiling doors and windows
• Air conditioning
• Ceiling fan
• Private terrace with a lounge chair or hammock

Lower Level

The lower level includes a bedroom and adjacent kitchenette. The bedroom offers:

• Queen-size bed
• Air conditioning
• Ceiling fan
• Floor-to-ceiling doors and windows
• En-suite bathroom
• Spectacular views

The kitchenette is equipped with the appliances, utensils, and cookware needed to prepare a full dinner or a quick snack by the pool. The deck in front of the unit includes lounge chairs and a hammock, creating an open and relaxing space.

Pool

Below the house is a 40-foot heated swimming pool with a large deck and lounge chairs. The pool is suitable for cooling off or swimming laps, and its pleasant saltwater filtration system provides a refreshing experience without chlorine irritation.

The house is cleaned before arrival and after departure. During your stay, it is cleaned every three days. More frequent cleaning is available for an additional fee.

Cellular service is generally good. Check with your carrier before leaving home to confirm that your service package includes Mexico; for example, AT&T includes Mexico in most Value Share packages.

Security

Security features include:

Guest Access

Guests have full, private access to the entire house and property.

Transportation to and from Puerto Vallarta Airport can be arranged through a well-regarded car service with SUVs. The service can also stop at Mega, the large grocery store, on the way to the house.

Small Children

Due to the open-air design and terraces with open railings on every level, Casa Magia is not recommended for families with small children.

Local Activities and Services

Private Chef

A private chef can be recommended to prepare meals at the house for you and your group. Details are available when you book your stay.

Dining

Sayulita offers a wide variety of restaurants, from upscale Italian dining to casual street taco establishments serving creative and authentic Mexican cuisine.

Massage

High-quality massage therapists offer treatments in private beach huts, including deep-tissue and full-body relaxation sessions. Therapists can also arrange visits to the house.

Surfing

Surfboards can be rented, and lessons are available from numerous vendors on the beach.

Golf

Budget golf is available at the nine-hole Las Huertas course, located 10 minutes north of Sayulita. Championship golf courses are available in the upscale Punta Mita developments, approximately 20 minutes from town.

ATMs

ATMs are available inside pharmacies and mini-grocers. For greater security, use machines located inside stores rather than outdoor ATMs, which carry an increased risk of fraud.
