The Farmhouse is a tree-house in the middle of a permaculture farm and restorative forest project on the folds of Volcano Maderas. It's conveniently located just 15 minutes from town of Balgüe and ten minutes from the Maderas trail-head. It is cosy and comfortable and open to the surrounding 'jungle' setting. Howler monkeys and rare birds surround the house and eat the exotic fruits that are all around. Relax in the hammocks and enjoy nature in this and educational and immersive farm-stay. The space This house is fully solar powered and sustainably run. The space is open and airy and light, surrounded by greenery. We are famous for our hospitality and fantastic, filling breakfasts. The houses are hand-built by local craftsmen and filled with local art. We use sustainable and local materials... the bamboo is all from our surrounding farm. There is a comfortable work-space for digital nomads, with desks that are made from eucalyptus, also sourced from the farm. The houses come complete with hammock chairs, queen beds, private balcony and kettle. Guest access Guests have full access to the open-air kitchen and organic farm produce, free fiber-optic wifi and access to the farm trails and (enclosed) animals around.
