There are no shops or parties nearby—only a calm sea, natural shade, air conditioning, and the assistance of a butler to help you truly unwind.

The cabin is located just 2.5 hours from Cartagena. You can drive directly to the property and park beside the cabin. If you need transportation from an airport, we will be happy to help you find suitable options.
Upon arrival, our staff will assist with your luggage and help you settle in. The bedrooms have air conditioning and fans, and the house has a reliable water supply.
Our rates include a butler and cleaning service. They can assist with purchasing supplies, arranging transportation, organizing boat trips, and coordinating other activities in the area. The staff members speak only Spanish, but you can contact us with any questions and we will help translate between English and Spanish.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your use. Alternatively, our cook can prepare local specialties for you. You can coordinate with her according to the level of privacy you prefer.
Wi-Fi is available if you need to stay connected during your visit.
Activities
Several activities are arranged through a nearby supplier and are available for an additional cost.
- Kayaking: Explore the mangroves, observe the area's beautiful birds, visit the nearby lagoon, and paddle through the waterways.
- Snorkeling and scuba diving: Arrange excursions to various locations in the islands and enjoy the warm Caribbean Sea. Equipment rental is available.
- Bioluminescent plankton: On a night with little light, paddle into the lagoon by kayak and watch thousands of plankton particles illuminate the water as it moves.
- Island visits: Explore the San Bernardo Islands, admire their colorful waters and white-sand beaches, swim, enjoy a fish lunch, or visit the bird island, where hundreds of birds arrive at sunset to sleep.
- Windsurfing: Take lessons nearby if you are a beginner or rent equipment to enjoy the sea.
- Walking, running, and bird-watching: Walk or jog several kilometers early in the morning or at sunset while observing the area's beautiful birds.
- Bicycle riding: Rent bicycles in Rincón del Mar and tour the surrounding area. One bicycle is available at the house.
- Rincón del Mar: Visit the nearest town and experience its fishing-village atmosphere, browse small souvenir shops, or enjoy a cold beer at one of the beachside restaurants or bars while watching the sunset.
You can also read a book in the hammocks or in the private beach kiosk, just a few steps from the house. Sun loungers are available for relaxing in the sun, perhaps with a cocktail. The sunsets are beautiful from the beach and can also be enjoyed from the sea.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire oceanfront cabin and private beach, including the kiosk. Enjoy breakfast with an ocean view and ask about dock availability for watching beautiful sunsets.
The access road through the nature reserve is in very good condition, so small cars can reach the property without difficulty.
A food service is available by advance arrangement for an additional cost. The varied menu includes delicious local specialties and options to suit different tastes.
Important Information
Electricity
The house has a generator that can be used during a power outage. Our butler will start it, and it will provide power throughout the night. If you need to use the generator for longer, an additional fee will apply.
Internet
The house has an unlimited internet connection with a speed of 6 megabits. If you need a faster connection, let us know and we will try to assist.
Mosquitoes
Because the property is located in a nature reserve, mosquitoes may be present around sunset. To make your stay more comfortable, we can fumigate the bedrooms, provide electric units for RAID tablets, and supply mosquito nets upon request. Please bring spare RAID tablets if needed. The second-floor bedrooms also have window screens.

Our experience at Casita Caribe was excellent!! We went in the low season and basically had a completely private beach. The sea is so calm. We were able to access the pier and see the best sunsets. We were able to use the kayaks. Don't miss this experience. Luz Mery cooked delicious meals for us and was always attentive to what we needed, as was Roi, who helped us on several occasions. It's a place far from the world, to disconnect completely!! If I had to say something not so good, it would be the mosquitoes. I don't know if it was the time of year, but there were too many. I get recommendations on how to better combat them. We plan to come back to this place many more times!! We were very happy!! ❤️

We enjoyed this accommodation and the very peaceful surroundings for 5 days. Very beautiful nature. The services of Luz and Roinel for housekeeping are perfect. They and Ana are very responsive to any needs you may have. I recommend the meal service if you have the budget. Really very convenient. Comfortable house, very clean. Air conditioning for the night is an asset because it's hot. The photos match reality. There is just a neighboring house very close by. You can't see it in the photos, although it's really right next door. But she was not busy, so she did not disturb the calm of the place. We really enjoyed the beach, which is very beautiful, and one of the pontoons to which you have access. You just have to know that on the Colombian Caribbean coast, the sea is not crystal clear and "turquoise" blue like on the islands. The San Bernado archipelago is not far away and can be easily visited for the day. It's enough to ask Luz to organize it. I would this place.

Casita Caribe is an incredible place if you want to disconnect and have an experience in a natural reserve and beach setting. The place has everything you need for a deeply restorative vacation: comfort, tranquility, nature, adventure. The staff who take care of the house are exceptional: Luz Mery's seasoning, accompanied by her good humor, patience, stories and order, are complemented by the work Roiner does in maintaining the place, the company he provides to get to know the marine environment in his boat, and his explanations about the Sanguaré reserve. Even our three dogs felt the good energy of the house. It's definitely a place where, once you're there, you don't want your vacation to end. Our experience was excellent. Ana was a very friendly and attentive host, and she was always making sure that everything was fine. The cabin is even nicer than what the pictures show: very clean, comfortable, quiet, and perfect for relaxing with family or friends. The service from all the staff was excellent, and they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was definitely an experience that exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return very soon. We recommend this place 100%!

The place is amazing, much nicer than what you see in the photos! The house is very comfortable. Everything was there and remained impeccable. Ana is a great host. She was always super attentive and helped us with everything to make our stay unforgettable. The people who helped us and took care of us at the house were very friendly and helpful with everything. I really recommend this beautiful corner of Colombia. We definitely want to come back!!

Ana’s place is paradise. We had a fantastic stay with our kids. The place is unique and magic. We chose the all-inclusive version and the food was also great. (Just make sure you read the instructions before you come so you know about the rules regarding aircon etc.) We will definitely return!

Ana's house is located in a secluded nature reserve, tranquility guaranteed. This is the perfect place to enjoy the present moment as well as to discover the fauna and flora. Kayaks are available and we can use them as we wish. The people who take care of the house as well as Ana are very friendly and ready to help us if needed. It's a little paradise that has won over our whole family!
