I really enjoyed my stay overall, but the check-in experience was unfortunately very stressful. After I had already checked in and left all my belongings inside, the host disabled my access code while I was out buying groceries because they were waiting for a $500 electricity deposit. I had already paid the full rental amount, and their own policy clearly allows 24 hours to make this additional payment. Instead of simply notifying me, I was locked out in the heat, unable to access my belongings or Wi-Fi to resolve the issue. This could have been handled with basic communication and hospitality, and it created an unnecessary and unpleasant situation at the very start of an otherwise enjoyable stay.

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect and far surpassed our expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything about this stay was outstanding. The location couldn't have been better - ideally situated with fantastic restaurants nearby that we enjoyed throughout our trip. While the property itself doesn't have direct beach access, the hosts provided access to private beach clubs just a 10-minute drive away, which was a wonderful amenity and gave us the best of both worlds. The hosts were truly exceptional - incredibly responsive to any requests and maintained excellent communication throughout our entire stay. They made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The accommodations themselves were beautiful and well-maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Tulum and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We'd absolutely return on our next trip! Thank you for making our Tulum experience so memorable!

All in all, our accommodations were everything we expected. The location was excellent, with plenty of dining and grocery options within walking distance. The pools were gorgeous and clean — perfect for relaxing all day. The area was also very quiet at night, making it easy to sleep, and we felt very safe thanks to the attentive security staff. The only downside was the cleanliness of the floors in our unit. We noticed some hair and debris behind doors and in the bathroom, which could have used a more thorough cleaning. Other than that, everything else was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. Will we book again. Absolutely.
