We had a great stay at Hol Chan Reef Resort! We loved being right off the reef for snorkeling. The villa was great for our family of 4 and we enjoyed both the pool and swimming off the pier. Dennis was a helpful concierge and Edwin at the pool bar helped us with great recommendations for local restaurants. Our snorkeling tours picked us up right off the pier. We loved the location south of San Pedro as it was more secluded than close to the city but close enough for a golf cart ride to restaurants and activities. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The condo was as advertised and the pictures were accurate. It was clean, had a nicely appointed kitchen and beach towels were provided (a plus from a packing perspective). The sunrises were beautiful on the deck! Sandra was super helpful before and during our stay with information about arrival. She responded promptly via text. She helped book a taxi from the ferry and was there to greet us and check us out. The condo is a little further out from town (about 20 minutes via golf cart) which has its pros and cons. We enjoyed that it was out of the hustle and bustle of things. And the pool bar was great and you could order drinks and lunch (except Mondays) and Stax across the road was great for dinner and yummy drinks (except Tuesdays). We loved getting picked up for snorkeling right from the pier.

We were lucky enough to spend 2 weeks at this beautiful unit, very quiet and peaceful our pool had its own bartender which was nice. It would be nice to have a couple umbrellas around the pool to hide from the afternoon heat a little is the only thing I could think of we loved it here and would book again! Really loved the property the views were great and the host was very nice & responsive. Made check in very easy and the property was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay! Would stay again for the views and the hospitality! The location is on the very south end of San Pedro which made things seem further away and not walkable.

We were disappointed to learn the two “double” beds, were actually twin size beds. * Hot tub was listed as an amenity and there wasn’t one, which was very disappointing especially because the pool is not heated. *There is no “beach” so the “beachfront location” in the listing is misleading. Yes there is a man made sand area with lounge chairs and palapa, but there was no ability to “walk the beach” or wade into the water. Sea grass that had come lose, was thick up against the sea wall and smelled foul. *The TV was missing an HDMI port in the living room which prevented us from watching movies on our Fire Stick. *Wifi was insufficient for 6 adults. *Wifi extenders in the bedrooms were worthless. *The AC in the living room was missing it’s fins so we couldn’t really direct the air off of us as we sat in the living room. *LOVED the Adirondack chairs outside the master bedroom, I could have lived in those!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! The condo is very spacious and the views are just as pictured, spectacular! Sandra was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The condo is about 20 minutes by golf cart from town and the ride can be pretty bumpy. The upside to that though is that you are in a very peaceful and relaxing area and it is nice to be away from the town center, but not too far. Just make sure you rent a golf cart for your stay and you will have no problems!
