The Space
The rental includes cleaning service from Monday through Saturday.
Chef or cook services are available upon request. We can provide the contact information for the person who works with us.
The house has six bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and air conditioning with mini-split units.
The bedrooms are arranged in cabanas or villas, with two rooms in each unit and completely independent entrances. This setup allows individuals or couples to enjoy privacy while still sharing the common areas comfortably whenever they wish.
Sleeping arrangements include:
- Five bedrooms with king-size beds
- One bedroom with two queen-size beds
Guest Access
You will have private access to the entire property during your stay.
Important Information
Puerto is a small city that is still developing, so temporary power outages may occasionally occur. If this happens, please be patient, as service usually returns within 10 to 15 minutes. If power does not return, notify your host so we can follow up.
The property is located in a tropical area. We fumigate regularly to help keep the space free of insects, but you may occasionally see a small bug or animal. Please contact us if you need guidance or assistance.
If anything in the house is not working properly, such as the refrigerator, air conditioning, or fans, please let us know as soon as possible. We want you to have a comfortable stay and will address any issue as quickly as possible.
Community Guidelines
Puerto has grown significantly in recent years, and many accommodations have been built in the area. Please respect the neighbors and the surrounding community.
After 11:00 p.m., noise or music that could disturb the neighbors is not permitted. This rule is established by the local authorities. Failure to comply may result in fines, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a peaceful environment.
Weather and Climate
The rainy season runs from June through September. Rain does not occur every day and usually falls at night or in the early morning. Storms or hurricanes may occasionally occur. All bedrooms are protected, allowing you to remain comfortable indoors during rainy weather.
Because of the tropical climate and warm temperatures throughout the year, averaging approximately 30°C (86°F), the beds are made with sheets only. Early mornings may occasionally feel slightly cool. If this happens, we suggest turning off or adjusting the air conditioning or using the fan.

Beautiful Airbnb, just as shown in the pictures! The place was very nice and we really appreciated the daily cleaning service. The host was also responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. We did have a couple of minor issues with the water during our stay, but the host was quick to help resolve them. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no parking inside the property, so parking is outside on the street. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the property!

We loved Casa Mochila. All the rooms are very nice and clean. It's walking distance to everything. The host answered us in a super friendly manner, was attentive the whole time, and resolved any questions we had. I would happily return to Casa Mochila

Everything was amazing! Monse was always attentive to us, and if we had any issues, she would rush to resolve them as soon as possible. They were always going to clean the house for us so that we could just enjoy ourselves. If you have the chance to hire Sonia to cook for you, don't miss it. She cooks deliciously!! The house is very large and has a lot of vegetation, so sometimes some insects can come out, but nothing out of the ordinary! Thank you for giving us the best stay in Puerto Escondido. I would definitely come back.

An excellent stay! The accommodation is as shown in the photos, and everything worked perfectly. The air conditioners cool incredibly well, which made the stay very comfortable. We especially want to highlight the host's service, who was super flexible and understanding with our check-in and check-out times. In addition, the cleaning staff was extremely friendly, attentive and honest, and the transportation recommendations they gave us were a 10. It was a great experience and we definitely highly recommend it!

Pretty nice and relaxing place for a vacation, it looks like the pictures, it is a pretty good location from the downtown and everything is nearby. I loved and enjoyed staying here, didn’t want to leave. Although bugs would appear in the bedrooms overnight.

We went on a family trip to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday... the goal was to have fun and relax and we accomplished that... the recommendations we received were amazing... there is construction in the neighborhood but honestly it didn't bother us... we spent a lot of time at the Airbnb and loved it
