The Space

Relax in our stylish two-bedroom lakefront house, located just three minutes from the center of San Marcos and the main dock. The home offers a full kitchen, hot shower, and peaceful garden in a quiet yet central setting—ideal for couples or families seeking time in nature.

Venga Atitlan is designed for travelers who want to unwind in a tranquil environment while enjoying easy access to everything the lake has to offer.

We have seven types of accommodations on the property, along with shared spaces where guests can connect, work, or relax:

• Lush gardens with cozy corners surrounded by nature
• Co-working spaces
• An outdoor gazebo
• A wooden platform with yoga mats and exercise equipment
• Starlink internet with speeds between 50 and 150 megabits per second

Your private kitchen includes everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals. Alternatively, a two-minute walk will take you to restaurants offering vegan and vegetarian dishes, pizza, and local Mayan cuisine.

Privacy and Location on the Property

The Dreamy Lakehouse Venga is our most private accommodation. It is located at the front of the property and includes:

• A private entrance
• A private bathroom
• A private garden area

The house is next to the entrance and exit used for our stand-up paddleboard activities. We maintain complete silence while operating paddleboard tours before 9:00 a.m., and tours finish by 1:00 p.m. There may be a small amount of foot traffic next to the house, and you may occasionally hear voices.

Guest Access

You are welcome to use all areas of the property. Please be considerate in spaces directly in front of other rooms.

Guests may enjoy the following shared areas:

• Bouldering gym
• Co-working spaces
• Back gardens
• Outdoor gazebo

Additional Activities and Services

Activities and services are discounted for in-house guests or offered at cost to keep them accessible and enjoyable. Please contact us in advance to arrange a date and time, and we will show you how everything works.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding

We have six stand-up paddleboards available for rent.

• Q100 per person staying at Venga
• Q150 for an outside friend accompanying a guest

We generally recommend going early in the morning for the best weather conditions.

Bouldering Gym

Our in-house bouldering gym typically has 25–30 climbing routes, ranging from beginner to expert. Climbing shoes and chalk are provided.

• Q50 per session for in-house guests
• Q80 for an outside friend accompanying a guest

After the initial introduction, guests may climb outside our public opening hours. Please keep track of your sessions and settle your tab before checkout.

Sauna

Sauna use costs Q100 per session. Please provide two hours’ notice so we can prepare it. The sauna is available until 8:00 p.m.

Laundry Service

Laundry service costs Q50 per load. If the amount of laundry requires an additional load, there will be an extra charge of Q50.

Laundry service is not available on Sundays.

Yoga

Our neighbors at Hostel Del Lago offer daily yoga classes on their platform for Q75 per class.

Other Activities

Feel free to ask us about activities outside Venga Atitlan. We can help you find fair prices and experienced guides.

Important Information

We live in rural Guatemala, surrounded by jungle. Bugs, spiders, and nonpoisonous scorpions may occasionally appear.
