Picture-Perfect 2-Bedroom Oceanfront Home w/ Pool

Had a great stay overall. Very attentive hosts who were proactive in addressing any minor needs we had. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay here in Belize! The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The living room and kitchen were also very open and well set up, which made everything feel even more relaxing. The pool was big and perfect for just hanging out, and having the beach right there was super convenient—we honestly didn’t feel the need to leave most of the time. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop deck. On our last night, we went up there to look at the stars, and it was the most stars I’ve ever seen in my life—completely unreal. I was honestly mind blown. I highly recommend this Airbnb. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and has everything you need for a perfect stay.

We booked this rental for our wedding and honeymoon. The host was super responsive and assisted with planning and having it on-site. They gave plenty of recommendations for local planners, golf cart rentals and even brought a speaker for the ceremony. The location was perfect—secluded enough but not too far from the main village. Bedrooms are separate from the living room and kitchen, each with its own exterior lock. There was an extra bedroom downstairs that the host mentioned we didn’t have access to, which was fine, but we’d occasionally see its light on, which felt a little bit odd since no one stayed there. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the cameras pointed at all doors and trash washed up on the beach. These are minor concerns, though, and overall we had an amazing stay!

Our family of four had a fantastic visit to Placencia. We felt right at home here. The beach was private and the pool was so refreshing after a long day exploring. We found the location on the peninsula important in that a bit further north was effected by sargassum seaweed. Not here! We experienced a few late night showers and winds that made a bit of a mess of the pool and property, however, the groundskeeper was out at dawn each morning to tidy up. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Slow Loris. It was the best beach location I've ever found. The first night we were there we walked the short distance to The Flying Pig Restaurant/Bar and met the friendliest group of people who made us feel right at home and gave us great recommendations. Just another perk of staying at the Slow Loris Villa. Would highly recommend and would love to return there someday.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The bedrooms are in separate buildings from the main living space, which made my teenager happy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Everything was exactly as pictured. My only comment is that the futons were uncomfortable to sit on, which only made us use the hammocks more!

Our stay at this rental far exceeded our expectations, offering top-tier accommodations. The communication was exceptional; when a few issues arose, the management promptly addressed them by visiting the property and taking swift action. This is a phenomenal place, with breathtaking views that truly enhance the experience!!! Will be back!!

The house was beautiful and as described. We loved the location, the pool and the beach! The house was well stocked and had all of our basic needs. It was accurately described and looked just like the pictures! For those traveling with younger kids, I would highlight that the rooms are completely separate from the main house, which was accurately described. While we felt 100% safe in Placencia, I was not totally comfortable allowing the kids to have their own room. If traveling with older kids or traveling with adult couples, this is the perfect house! Also note, the main house does not have air conditioning, as described, but very warm if you plan to cook or want to hang out indoors. All of this was accurately described in the listing, so it was totally expected. We love our time at the house and we had the best time! We cannot wait to come back to Placencia!

Wow! What an amazing property. Probably the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in and certainly hope to return. A few notes for others: Each bedroom is in a separate structure that is adjacent and connected to the main upper deck. This makes the property is perfect for a family but also for groups of couples that want some separation and privacy. The infinity pool right on the beach is simply amazing. The property is about 10 minutes from town, so you will need transportation. We had both a golf cart and car which was probably unnecessary but gave us flexibility. Stores are well stocked and we cooked multiple meals at the villa. Looking forward to our return.
