Located directly on the beachfront overlooking the mile-long stretch of white sand at secluded Playa El Coco, this studio is ideal for swimming and sits beside a turtle sanctuary.

The studio includes:

Optional downstairs twin rooms are available for larger groups. Gourmet meals, beverages, wellness activities, yoga, and spa services can also be arranged to create a personalized oceanfront getaway.

The Space

The property is easily accessible via the new coastal highway and offers ample on-site parking, along with direct access to the pristine shores of Playa El Coco. Whether you are looking for a fully supported retreat or a private seaside escape with family and friends, The Sanctuary provides a flexible setting tailored to your needs.

Beachfront Studio Apartments

The three Beachfront Studio Apartments sit directly on the sand at the quiet northern end of the beach. Each apartment is thoughtfully designed with beautiful local hardwood ceilings, king-size beds, wardrobes, and bedside tables that bring the surrounding forest indoors.

Every unit features:

• A private oceanfront porch with ample seating
• Expansive windows overlooking the Pacific Ocean and jungle vegetation
• Air conditioning
• Kitchenette
• En-suite full bathroom
• Outdoor shower

The three apartments may be rented individually or combined. Their porches can be opened to connect with one another or kept separately locked for added privacy.

Three twin rooms are located below the apartments and are known as the “Surfer’s Special.” These rooms can accommodate additional guests or serve as children’s quarters. Altogether, the property can host up to 19 guests.

The house may be rented independently. Guests may also inquire about day passes, available for an additional fee, which provide access to the Upper Campus amenities, services, and events. Regardless of whether guests use these amenities, the concierge can arrange catered meals, massages, spa treatments, and excursions.

Dining and Culinary Experience

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be arranged using a thoughtfully curated menu featuring organic, locally sourced ingredients.

Sample dishes include:

• Chicken piccata with pasta and Tuscan-herbed roasted vegetables
• Homemade falafel with fresh pita and gluten-free tabbouleh
• Filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and hoisin-spiced pineapple slaw

Upper Campus

The Sanctuary’s main campus is situated just above the house, approximately a two-minute walk away.

Communal Gathering Space

At the heart of the resort is a two-story gathering space designed for movement, meditation, ceremonies, and celebrations. It can accommodate up to 100 guests.

The structure rises into the treetop canopy and features soaring bamboo towers surrounded by vibrant tropical gardens. Inside, guests can experience the sights and sounds of the jungle, including green parrots, blue jays, and playful howler monkeys.

Pool and Social Oasis

Next to the gathering space is a saltwater lap and recreation pool designed for both exercise and relaxation. Finished with shimmering blue tile, the expansive pool includes a deep end with a natural diving rock.

The pool area features:

• A shaded deck with ample lounge seating
• Bathroom and shower access
• A relaxed setting for socializing and enjoying the tropical surroundings

Adjacent to the pool, the Elixir Bar includes an outdoor kitchen, plentiful seating, and convenient electrical outlets. It is suitable for enjoying drinks, sharing meals, gathering with others, or working poolside while staying connected.

Accommodations

Overlooking the campus, Villa de Evolución is a beautifully designed, air-conditioned home with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, as well as expansive Pacific Ocean views.

The villa includes:

• A large screened porch with seating for up to 30 guests
• Hammocks
• A tranquil atmosphere shaped by conscious design and natural materials
• En-suite bedrooms accommodating up to 15 guests

Just below the villa is a black bamboo yurt bunk room with sleeping space for eight guests. An outdoor bathroom and two private spiral showers are located only a few steps away, providing comfort and privacy among the trees.

Flexible Booking Options
