With a completely separate entrance, this apartment is an exclusive space for four people. Every corner has been thought out for your well-being:
Kitchen & Dining Room with Natural Show: Prepare your meals in a fully equipped kitchen while enjoying the lake view and our "Hummingbird Garden". It's your front row seat for a colorful and wildlife concert.
The cozy master bedroom awaits you with a comfortable orthopedic bed, perfect for resting and recharging after a day of exploration. The second bedroom overlooks the lake and has two comfortable single beds and a desk table.
The functional design bathroom has a European system shower, which guarantees adjustable hot water to your liking, to start or end your day in the best way.
Outdoor Spaces: Choose Your Peaceful Corner
At Rainbow Place, outdoor life is the protagonist. That's why you don't have one, but multiple spaces to enjoy the exterior:
🌿 Private entrance corridor: This is your outdoor sanctuary. A space just for you, with direct views of the lake and comfortable chairs that invite you to have a tea while watching the bamboo and variety of trees and plants.
🌋 Shared Corridor overlooking Lake and Volcano: Leaving the apartment's second bedroom, there is a corridor with spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano. This space is shared with me (I live next door, in my yoga studio), offering you another magical perspective for your photos, moments of relaxation and meditation.
Edible and Medicinal 🌱 Garden: Feel free to explore our landscaped areas! We invite you to harvest fresh herbs for a digestive, expectorant or relaxing tea or to get to know - and use - the plants available in our edible garden. An authentic, earth-connected experience!
Peace of mind, safety and your Host
We are located in a private, family friendly neighborhood, an incredibly safe and quiet haven of peace. For your total tranquility, I (the owner) live in the yoga studio next door. I value and respect your privacy above all else, but I am close in case you need any recommendations or help. We are looking for guests who, like us, love the nature, the silence, the peace and the beauty that surrounds us. I teach yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 pm, and on Saturdays at 9:00 am. You are cordially invited if you like to practice yoga. And if you don't practice yoga, we ask that you please don't make a lot of noise during those days and hours.
Definitely Rainbow Place is a unique space where you can rest, unplug from the mundane noise, and reconnect through the contemplation of one of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet (and we don't just say it!)

Guest access When staying in the unique and exclusive apartment, you will have access to the common areas that are shared with me (I live in the yoga studio located on the side). We have two corridors, one at the entrance of the property, and another in the back (with the best view of the lake); both have armchairs, tables, chairs and hammocks, where you can relax to the fullest, contemplating the lake and Arenal volcano.
Other things to note We are located in a private, family, safe and extremely quiet neighborhood. Welcome all those people who like and seek peace, harmony and tranquility, and who like the connection with nature and wildlife! They will enjoy seeing the amount of hummingbirds that always come to visit us throughout the day!
The neighborhood and apartment can be reached by bus, but remember that this area is incredible and with many natural attractions, excursions, waterfalls, and activities to explore, so coming by car or renting a car here in the village can be a good idea!!

I stayed here for a month. The home is bigger than I thought it was from the photos, with a kitchen, bedroom and living room (and bathroom of course!). There is hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sink, as well as the shower! The living room also has a pull out bed. The kitchen has ample space to prepare meals. The herb garden was amazing. I even got to enjoy fresh off the tree bananas! The views of Lake Arenal and Arenal volcano in the distance never got boring! I did not have a car and walked everywhere. The town is 1km away, the “beach”, a windsurfing area is 2.5km away (but access to the trails is 1km until you are off the main road). The road isn’t really busy (less in the early morning) but no shoulders so you have to be careful when walking on the road. The town has everything I needed: fruit stand, groceries, fresh eggs and fresh milk. Raquel was beyond helpful and so resourceful and Ernesto the cat is super sweet! I felt more like family staying my month with Raquel!

If you're looking for personal, beautiful, and cozy accommodation, book Rainbow Place. You won't get a better host in Raquel to help with anything you could want. The space is missing nothing and she offers smart solutions that we greatly appreciated, such as filters for drinking water from the tap, fruit and herb garden for use, crib and toys for the kids and time and desire for local recommendations and help. Everything was great at Raquel's place and she gets our warmest recommendations! :)

Raquel is a wonderful hostess, and the pictures hardly do the apartment justice. It is so much more. I especially liked that there are a multitude of places on the compound to hang out in: the kitchen, the living room / yoga room, the front porch, the back patio, the bedroom, the edible garden, etc. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. The sounds of the wind and animals surround you day and night. I highly recommend and would stay again!
