The Space
We fell in love with this stretch of El Salvador’s coast as soon as we discovered its wide sandy beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and welcoming seaside lifestyle. When we found this rancho, we saw the potential to create something truly special.
The renovation was completed with care and intention. Local artisans crafted the woodwork, built the furniture by hand, and added details that reflect the beauty and culture of El Salvador.
Designed for families and friends to gather, the home is comfortable, luxurious, and easy to enjoy. Start the day with coffee on the patio, spend the afternoon in the pool, and end the evening watching the sky turn pink over the water. Modern conveniences such as air conditioning, hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen make the rancho feel both refined and welcoming.

Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire home, including:
- All five bedrooms, each with an adjoining bathroom
- Spacious kitchen
- Open-concept living room
- Courtyard
- Private pool
- Covered patio, or glorieta
- Fenced grassy beach area
- Poolside bathroom
- Outdoor showers
One room at the front of the house is reserved for the owner’s belongings and is not included in the rental.
A laundry room is available to guests staying for more than three days.
Caretaker Services
A small caretaker’s casita is located at the front of the property. The caretakers help make your stay comfortable by:
- Greeting guests at check-in
- Maintaining the pool
- Answering questions
- Respecting guests’ privacy
Additional services, including cleaning, cooking, and laundry, can be arranged directly with the caretakers during your stay.

We had an amazing stay at the Rancho! Juan was an excellent host—very communicative, responded quickly to all of our questions, and was incredibly flexible throughout our stay. He even let us check out two hours later, which we really appreciated. The property is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for spending quality time with family and friends. One of the best parts is that the beach is just a short walk away, making it super convenient to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. We had an amazing time at the beach and created wonderful memories with our family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway!

Our stay was absolutely amazing—10/10! The beach house is beautiful, with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, a stunning large pool, and a gorgeous ranch that made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time in El Salvador. Juan was an outstanding host. He was always responsive, easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special thank you to Antonio, the housekeeper, who truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always checking in to see if we needed anything. His hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting El Salvador. The ranch at the beach was absolutely spectacular—pictures truly don’t do it justice. The place is even more beautiful in person, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Everything was well taken care of, and you can tell a lot of love goes into maintaining it. A special shoutout to Don Antonio and his wife, who were incredible hosts. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always attentive and kind. Overall, an amazing experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful getaway.

El Rancho de Don Juan is, without a doubt, a spectacular place. The ranch is quite large and spacious enough for a gathering of 3 or more families together. The venue can also be used for special events such as birthdays, christenings, weddings, etc. Don Juan was very communicative and helpful at all times during my stay. The place has 5 very spacious and clean bedrooms. Very clean bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The ranch is a very nice place with access to the beach and completely private. Don Antonio, the property manager, was also very attentive and helpful to my entire family, very friendly and ready to assist with whatever was needed. Don Juan and Don Antonio, thank you so much for a very nice experience during our vacation stay. I recommend Rancho de Don Juan to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation.
